Multi-billion dollar company. Please stop the TRADE and SERVICES channels from showing up in all our tabs, including our Combat Log. It’s getting old quick…and been over 24 hours.
You guys made a SERVICES channel a few patches ago. Great. I made a tab - set it to there, and don’t pay attention to it. I know it spams faster than I can read…but including those in people’s custom general tabs is just so annoying. It’s not like you deployed a patch and it existed for an hour or two either. It’s been over a day at this point.

It’s not just Trade and Services. All 5 public channels are being enabled in all chat tabs every time i log in. I have to remove public channels from my private chat tabs each time i relog. Had to delete Servises channel entirely.

i have the opposite problem. i dont have any chat channels except services showing up. they arent even in the settings to enable or disable. gone. completely.
I have the same issue & am getting so sick of having to remove the channels every time i do anything.

Every time I log in:
- I turn Trade and Services off in my General tab.
- I turn Trade, Services, General, and Local Defense off in my Combat Log
- I turn Trade, Services, General, and Local Defense off in my Whispers
- I turn General, Local Defense, and Trade off in my Services tab
- I turn General, Local Defense, and Services off in my Trade tab
Then it works perfectly. Until I log out, and I have to do the same thing all over again.
I’ve played the game for over 17 years now. I understand how the game functions. This is not a me problem.
I’m also not resetting my user interface. A patch broke it - and a patch will fix it. I will uninstall and unsubscribe before I do that. I’m over the inability to have a working game.

And just for giggles I tested this on my Laptop with no addons and the problem exists. I didn’t fully reset my UI (not doing that EVER).
Ugh! The same thing is happening to me as well: I need to disable and restructure channels every time I log back in.

same issue here… Fix this nonsense… Jeezus… I hate getting spammed 24x7 everytime i logon an alt or my main. It just keeps resetting

Been a week now and they haven’t even noticed its broken or gave a response
To save you from unchecking the global channels each time you login or /reload, you can remove them permanently using the red circle on the right side of each global channel in the chat settings.
