Alterac Valley are supposed to take time and have objects but now the players are so overpowered that they can do it in less than 2 minutes. Cant wait for players to get geared then you can prob 2 man or solo it.
This week i gotten 70k hp from AV and have 46 hks. Imagine make all raids this easy then i bet all the PvE players would cry on the forums. All bosses in MC downed in less than 3 minutes. Yeah BGs atm are something special and the lag it have, tf. So different from cata that have zero lag. Is like blizzard dont want us to play SoD at all.
I feel they could just rename WoW to World of Rush. No one enjoys the content anymore, just rush to get most gear, hp, rep whatever in the fastes possible way!
AV use to be a place when turnins were done you feared the NPC pushes. Now I watch the druids get nuked down by a few people. The flight masters done even make it back to base being kited and easily killed by one person as with most LTs/“bosses”

This is the most true statement ever made about WOW. Blizzard would make a fortune if they sold a BIS Raid/PVP geared, max level, max gold, max rep, max riding/professions, all quest done boost. Just log in and the game is completed, shareholders would be happy.
All they have to do is make the bosses invulnerable until you kill the towers… Sorta like they have the major boss in Ashenvale who you cannot attack until the minor bosses have been dealt with…
However before they do this they need to fix shamans or give Alliance Shamans IMO.
And IMO all that is just to complicated for this Development grp.
Old AV sucked and if they do the changes like you guys are suggesting, the majority of players will simply go to AB or WSG or whatever the best honor meta is after AV gets nerfed.
I’ve played on servers with the original AV complete with landmines and all. It was horrible. Took me more than a week just to do the win quest for the 51 weapon. The games never ended and it barely gave any honor.
Well, you should still be able to kill the boss with a tower or two up. Otherwise the entire defense game becomes 15 man AoE stack in IBT and you cant lose.
I think it would be good to add additional boss scaling. Each Lt. up increases the last boss hp/damage. You could even make the end bases uncaptureable until you fully cap the outer GY (SH/IB) for the first time to slow down the progression. These are more radical changes, however.
As a start, the horde needs to be moved backwards and cave res should only be the last resort. That alone might naturally slow down the average game.
Don’t worry, it will fix itself once Horde stops playing after they gained their gear and ranks from farming Alliance players time by winning every AV.
