Hey Blizzard - please expand ride along mounts!

The issue is that the only mounts that currently support that feature are the Dragonflight mounts and the Stormrider mount that came with TWW Heroic edition and up. I might be forgetting a couple, but that’s it. Even the brand new Midnight pre-order mounts are incompatible with ride along, and that’s ridiculous.

Me and my wife play WoW together, have since retail launch, and Ride Along was a great addition for us. Unfortunately only a handful of mounts currently have that feature. I kind of understand it for older mounts as Blizzard would have to go back and update those but they’re still not adding the feature for most new mounts either. I have something like 500 mounts, a ton of which I really love, but because my wife and I play together 90% of the time and prefer to use ride along I’m severely limited to what mounts I can use.
This has been frustrating us for a while, but it’s really infuriating now that they just released the three Midnight pre-order mounts and NONE of them have Ride Along. This is especially ridiculous seeing as how the Stormrider that came with TWW has that feature, so it doesn’t make any sense why the Midnight pre-order mounts don’t.
So far every Ride Along mount uses the pet version of that mount as the model for the passenger player. Two of the three new mounts have pet versions, and TONS of older mounts do as well, so that shouldn’t be an issue. For all I care they could make the ride model for the passenger player a wisp or something, it’s the convenience of the feature that matters.
I know this probably isn’t a big deal to a lot of folks, but it’s really frustrating for those of us who have someone we group with frequently. It’d be nice to be able to use whatever mount you prefer at that moment rather than having to use a handful of specific ones just for the Ride Along feature.

I love the brand new mounts they added as part of the next expansion bundles dont even have ride along… seriously blizz people dont care if they are invisible during ride along either not everything needs a mini version to be visible

While they’re at it, enable 3-5 player ride along. It should be easy enough to mirror image the current passenger for a 3 person mount, and you could have a badass Flying V sort of thing for 5 players.

Add a /posse command that lets an entire group of five ride in a line abreast. The game’s AI should be smart enough to narrow the group when squeezing through small passages.

Enable ride along in the Skyriding UI, which is now where your mounts are.
Which only works on a small number of mounts. That’s the request: Make more mounts that allow it.

I’m confused. It’s worked on every mount I’ve used. I thought that was the entire point of the talent choice?

Only works on DF mounts reliably. Many others do not allow it.

I don’t recall that being the case since they added skyriding to almost every flying mount. The Dragon mounts from DF have it as well as the owl, stormrider epic mount, two parrots from Plunderstorm and the 3 delve mounts have it, for a total of 16.
You can actually filter for it, replacing the old Dragonriding category.
Weird. There’s a bunch of mounts I’ve used that have it.
And I know all of the six month mounts have it.
Why would they add a talent choice thst doesn’t work for everything? That is frustrating, then.

I needed a small group riding abreast in a hurry and it’s the best Google could do.

Im sure you already know about these two as well. I use Sandstone Drake and Obsidian Nightwing 90% of the time, since i duel box.
I agree they should add more ride along or double mounts. Druids have a double mount as well.
Obsidian was a recruit a friend, Sandstone is crafted by alchemy.
Why I keep asking the put in a Worgen Wagon mount/carriage mount for purpose of party group to use …and not be like the other stupid 5 person mount that was restricted to only those other you did the dungeon with to use it…

You forgot the two seated rocket that was RAF…they had that twice in game for players to get it…
