Please don't use older dungeons in DF for the M+ rotation

Oh yeah for sure our first season definitely should all be DF dungeons.

Yet that’s the issue I take. blizzard has consistently dropped the ball tuning wise, and has created horrible dungeons like karazhan and has been extremely slow in fixing it.

I don’t think Blizzard really cares about where the tuning falls apart in mid/high 20 keys tbh. It’s something they kinda get to over a few weeks.

As long as +15s and under are easily doable they call it a day.

Problem is blizzard don’t know how to tune their dungeons… I’m pretty sure they don’t even test their dungeons… did you see lower kara nerf today? Those are not small numbers it’s not tuning… it’s pretty obvious they do not even bother to test their dungeons before releasing them. we’re like a month into the patch now… Karazhan has been nerf every single week with those kind of numbers… That is ridiculous!

  • Lower Karazhan

    • Galindre and Elfyra’s health reduced by 35%.

    • Winged Assistant’s Throw “Stuff” damage reduced by 40%.

    • Winged Assistant’s health reduced by 35%.

    • Galindre’s Flashy Bolt damage reduced by 30%.

    • Elfyra’s Defy Gravity damage reduced by 50%.

    • Atumen the Huntsman will no longer cast Intangible Presence.

Blizz is lazy easy way out is bringing old content and just tunning dungeons.

Blizz just use the new dungeons for all of DF, keep old dungeons in tw. please.

It is a bad idea, but they will continue to do this because it saves them development costs.

I was a pretty strong naysayer and after actually having some of these under my belt, I think it’s actually a great idea. There should be more than just two current-expansion dungeons, but adding old dungeons to the rotation is actually really fun.

And yet for 15s Lower Kara was a disaster. 1/10th the clear rate of Junkyard. Lol. They just had to nerf that fight by like 40% across the board.

because you’re dying to mechanics that’s your grossly unaware that you had to make up bogus statement to justify why you failed the dungeon.

Well they did error with junkyard on the opposite side of the spectrum and make it a joke but im sure they won’t buff it to bring it in line.

Kara was out of line with the other dungeons and got nerfed like expected after waiting all week.

Not that either matter for 15s.

My biggest issue is that in the first season of DF its gonna be half new dungeons half old ones. the first season should be all the new dungeons and not half recycled content. from season 2 onward they can do the half and half

People complained for years to make old dungeons relevant. Now they complain they are trying to do that.

For sure, Junkyard is a joke. But the point is a gap like that is still massive. Lower is substantially worse than any other dungeon, even for 15s, not just substantially worse than Junkyard.

EDIT: Specifically Tyrannical Wikket. Beauty and the Beast is not really that bad.

Lower suffers the issue of its still very over tuned, especially for moroes and opera. Some weeks are easier, some are harder, its just very inconsistent on how its going to be.

To be honest, i’m not hating this rotation, sure it’s a dead key if you get kara, but you can slog through most 15’s with whoever’s online.

That being said. I want ALL df duneons in the m+ rotation at the start of the exp. I don’t want to wait for them to rotate up while i enjoy recycled content. This is dumb AF, and i’m having problems understanding how they came to this idea.

Edit: I’m 100% over all this “people have been asking for recycled content for years” stuff too. Yes, a very vocal minority of players. Same ones who wanted Classic and then played it for a whopping 2 months. Most players don’t feel this way, and everyone knows it. Retail and new content is why people play this game, not nostalgia and outdated content.
