I feel like we’re forgetting that we’re going back to a weekly conq cap. And that the reduction in conq doesn’t really matter cause SS is still going to be the best way to farm 5000 honor. I’m fairly confident you will cap conq before you meet the honor threshold
I hear what you’re saying, but I dunno about that in practice. I started pushing shuffle literally two days ago and got to 3100 cr. Like it’s not literally free, but it’s pretty close.
Everyone has differing experiences, I have seen pros struggle in solo shuffle matches. I have seen noobs.
Though, unless you were playing an alt spec and it used your MMR from your main spec that really shouldn’t be a thing unless you steam roll 5-1/6-0 every match.
Did you know that you can do something else while you’re in queue?
You could be out farming resource nodes, or skinning, or questing.
You don’t have to stand around in Valdrakken scratching your backside.
And some people don’t care for those activities. Mayhaps even, the activities they like doing they are already are in a que for or compete with solo shuffle.
You could be out there earning your game time. Or your repair bill.
If you have just gathering professions, and you skill up the right trees, you don’t even need to get off your dragon. Play with war mode on, and you can PvP while you do it. Compete with the other gatherers.
But alas, you’d rather complain about wasted time on the forums.
It is almost like people don’t enjoy those activities. Amazing that people instead of farming resources would rather M+, Raid or actual PVP. Not that abomination that is WPVP.
And you don’t enjoy queues. But you still sit around in them.
Technically, I’m a part of your problem, all my healers are on strike. It doesn’t matter how much conquest they have in RSS, I’m not going to play it as heals.
I think most people enjoy a bit of casual monotony. Anyways, gotta do something to pass the time in queue.
If they deflate shuffle ladder gains then I want glad mount at 2400 +50 RSS.
I’ve heard about people doing things like studying (e.g., a foreign language as a hobby, or perhaps something for school) or doing chores or reading books while in queue.
Really it makes me envious of DPS players; I wish my queue times were long enough to get anything done IRL
They are trying to save the other rated avenues. Adding more to grind has proven many times over to disenchant the player base from playing in the past.
It is my opinion that nerfing shuffle is the not the solution. Maybe increase conquest in rated 2’s & 3’s could be a better solution? Maybe rated BGs as well (shrug). Just a thought.
Nerfed conquest.
Nerfed mmr.
No mount.
no sub money for bobby
Pretty shiddy they nerfing solo instead if making 2s 3s more rewarding.
They are increasing the rewards for those, but they are also nerfing the solo shuffle rewards at the same time. It’s a trick to try to get casuals and socially anxious loners to repopulate the moribund 2s and 3s brackets, but I doubt it will work.
As a socially anxious loner i’ll gladly “repopulate” the ladder whenever people stop acting like children over a video game.
I think putting conquest behind 3’s and not solo shuffle is a good idea. But there will be less healers in solo shuffle for sure. I only really did it to get cap
Gut conquest gains in the shuffle plz
