if you want to give people incentive to que 3s just boost conquest from there instead
none of this is a discussion about rating just about ease of gearing. rating means nothing in this discussion
That’s not why people que shuffle.
It’s literally only about rating and rewards. Nobody actually cares about the conquest outside of gearing alts and start of season.
No, I really don’t care if you get an easy 2400 or what ever. Other’s succeeding doesn’t effect me, I literally can not care if you get an easy 2400.
Also everyone in the PVP community ISN’T saying that.

My brother in christ the que times are 30 minutes to an hour. Thats a massive time investment. If you think otherwise you are delusional. Especially when you add in leavers.

Dev is usually 30 for me. Demo is anywhere from 20 to an hour. DH is the same as Dem fro me.

If the rating is what people care about then nerfing the conquest points rewards doesn’t make sense.
If they think they can get more people to do legacy arena modes with these changes, I think they need to do a bit more than this. The main reason I (mostly) don’t do 2s or 3s (despite being a healer) is because my desire to not have to use LFG or talk to anyone outweighs my desire to play the game, and I don’t want to be expected to do anything barbaric like use voice chat

They shouldn’t nerf conquest for shuffle and in fact boost it, and then as well scaling suspensions for people that leave solo shuffle just cause they’re losing matches

This game is almost 20 years old and this is a small portion of the player base. Anyone that thinks making stuff less accessible is a good idea needs to s.t.f.u. If you are as good as you think you are then who cares what people hundreds of rating below you are getting?

The gate keeping is weird in this game. Very noticeable.
I think if they made a bg que with comparable rewards vs time to solo shuffle most people would play that.
It certainly would upset arena fans.

Maybe. I’m not the biggest fan of shuffle and I am even less of a fan of healing. I’ll give it a whirl sometime though see where I end up in 10 games
You have to play more games as healer than DPS to see similar rating increases in most cases.
