Where you getting that estimate? Isnt it still in alpha phases?

People were hoping for a June 29th anniversary release, though the earnings call recently described D2:R as coming out in the “second half” of the year, which would be July or later. Personally I think June 29th is still close enough that you can’t rule it out by an unspecific comment in the earnings call.

They were going to have a single player alpha and multi-player alpha, but if you look on the D2:R site, they changed the opt-in description from alpha to beta already after having just one short alpha weekend test. The test was supposed to be only two acts and a few classes, but people were able to access other areas and all other classes.

There’s also no reason for it to have an extended beta since it’s a re-master. I wouldn’t expect it to have any long public testing. The multiplayer beta may be more of a stress test.

Except it is lol…if your on the US board it definitely is launching June 1. Other countries who cares not my problem.
