Please don't force me into a neighbourhood

So you’re living in a nice human neighborhood… everyone is getting along… than the Harrisons down the street go on vacation and let their Warbound Orc family move-in.

There goes the neighborhood.

Don’t appreciate their kind around here…

Children are playing in the back yard and look at you over the fence? Sorry you have to put up with this, that’s just ridiculous!

Private neighborhoods will exist.

Meaning you can set yourself up with one and not invite any other player to it. Job done. Enjoy your neighbourhood with no one in it but yourself.

It’s typical of threads like this to be filled with extroverts who like to gaslight and belittle people who prefer to play solo.

That guy is no different. Little does he know, it’s individuals like him that partially make people want to be anti-social in the first place. :open_mouth:

The parents need to keep their crotch spawn under control and teach them to mind their own business.

Bingo! This is what I’ve been saying.

If you weren’t there for the glory days of Barrens Chat you missed out on some real culture.

I was, and to me those days were different, filled with new players rapidly joining the game and having a lot of fun. To be honest, I do not think Neighborhoods are going to be that horrible.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Will it just be a time killer grindhome like garrisons, or a insane asylum?

Was really hoping for a remote corner of Winterspring. The Orc Durotar flavor feels like a skip for me.

Until I can have a secret warlock lair hidden in a cave way out in the middle of nowhere, I’m not interested in player housing

Well, they are ‘Horde’? are they in PVP /combat mode?

This isn’t a serious reply is it? I have honestly never heard a grown adult complain that someone was looking at them.

This reminds me a lot of when my friend group first got into playing around with minecraft servers and there was that one guy that would join a massive world and build his castle right next to someone else.

Unwanted gaze is an incredibly common complaint. Its associated with some groups of people more than others, but its very common nonetheless.

I really don’t get it, so you want to have a house, in an instance, all by yourself? This is basically what the garrisons were, and people did not like them.

This is all foreign to me. I live in the midwest though, so maybe we just don’t get upset as much about things like that. I have neighbors on 3 sides of my back yard, and when they look at me I wave, they wave, it’s all friendly.

No reason it can’t be both.

Yes! That’s exactly it.

Negative.

Garrisons were a phased quest/profession hub that were heavily tied to player power and offered little to no personlization/customization at all.

I wanna live on a pirate ship. There’s plenty of water in WoW… so why not?

I’ll also settle for a bed in Freehold.
