I just hope Blizzard never comes up with idea to have content like horrific visions. I had to play them to increase my cloak lvl , but playing something that you can’t stand but its core mechanic its never nice.
I did like two and decided to bounce. With AoTC done and over with I was checked out.
Have you looked at torghast at all? I havent, but based on what I have heard it may be really good or a complete bust like visions.
I though horrific visions were fun. Especially for someone like me who preferer solo content. It becomes redundant once you have mastered 5 masks but other that, it was a cool addition to the game.
I found them ok i just didnt like the sanity meter.
Sadly, Blizzard seems married to the idea of “borrowed power”. So sad, because it causes nothing but chaos during expansion transitions.
Sorry but the game desperately needs more hard solo activities
i like them , u try to do it with frend , it is fun , u go alone , it is bad this a game of ppl
Uh oh , have you heard of the “Anima” grind ?
What do you think Torghast is?
It was cool for the first 4-5 runs.
Then it became boring
I liked visions but didn’t like the currency to play them
sits on chair made of ice, leans forward slightly and whispers
There must always be AP.
Instant flashback to Anabasis Lux…
Please do not force cosmetics like glowie CIA corruption, it was a low effort effect and god awful. The penalties were fine but an option to shut it off the cosmetic would have been nice.
Visions were the best part of this patch. The only bad thing about them is that there were only 2 visions so it got reptitive but if there had been 5 or 6 different ones it would have been possibly the best thing they ever added to WoW.
I fully support this idea!
everything is borrowed power. even core spells and talents are subject to change but every power level is going to be reset with an expansion release. it was this way even with the very first expansion.
I disagree. When Outlands came out, we did not become weaker. The mobs got stronger, and we replaced out gear IMMEDIATELY, but we did not lose any power in our abilities.
Amen brother. I disliked it too. Only 1 toon got 15 lvl back achieve and we have technology. Just need to do 5 mask
in both cities. Will wait until our power
increases to get my black serpent of nzoth mount achieve.
with bc you lost tier set bonus, which is the only real comparison to the more robust talent and spell modification systems of today. i suppose the gameplay mistake, in your opinion, is that the expansion systems are too robust, so it is jarring to lose your artifact/azerite abilities during prepatch and at the start of a new expansion, when you are freshly leveling a new type of talent tree. but i’d say that transition is something that’s being smoothed out and is more like a minor unintended downside to the much greater upside of having a fresh, engrossing expansion-long progression for your skills that may offer customization and deeper talent/skill mods and unlocks with each patch in an expansion. for instance with bfa, beginning with only 3 ring azerite pieces, going to 5, then throwing in essences, then into corruption. compared to assembling a tier set, which seems more static. of course, its somewhat just a matter of taste.
Vision’s without the timer.
