I’m not going to read every post which is why I asked the question. You kind of cranky or what?
I do like 99% of the content without pet. That includes rares, open world and delves. I’ll only pull a pet out to guard a node in PvP , or to try and solo the very few rares that actually need groups to kill. The idea of not needing a pet even for that content pleases me.
When I feel like I really want a pet, I spec into Survival.
When I’ve recounted the same statements several times to the same few Lukewarm IQ members of the forums, it gets frustrating.
Does it please you to hurt others who still want a pet as MM?
Why is it that when you can’t win in an argument, the go to is the lovely personal attack?
You want Sushi.
I want Chicken.
You serve me raw Chicken as a “compromise” and then smuggly say now we can both be happy.
No… that isn’t how it works.
If you want Sushi, go to the Sushi Bar (Beast Mastery). Let my Chicken actually get cooked, because I am so tired of playing the unseasoned and underdone spec that is MM.

Such a strange response. So you pointed out having a pet is better in certain circumstances so you want the option removed… What makes you assume it won’t end up a net loss for you? Which would be pretty funny.

No, if I could I’d give you your pets, but it’s not my call. The new design is better than current one, and I won’t sacrifice it because some hold on to a deprecated feature. I’ve lost tons of cherished abilities over the years. I remember when Aimed Shot could be cast on the run, or when Arcane shot was a focus builder. I miss when Chimera Shot was a big damage cooldown. But I also embrace new things and learn how to excel at them.

The entire “PVP is all of Wow” mindset that dismisses the grand majority of actual players is complete and utter nonsense. You could fix your post by stating “In my opinion” first but stating it as simple fact is frankly dismissive and insulting. That is the extent of my ‘argument’ with you and I’m not going to continue to exchange on the topic. We do not agree, let’s leave it at that, shall we? No need to worry about further exchanges, as an act of mercy to the remainder of the forums I’ve muted this player rather than listen to them ramble on as if they were ‘the expert’ on one of my favorite classes. You are keeping pets in two specs and just getting an eagle for this one its not the end of the world give it a try besides bm hunter is the only good one.
No. Actually not at all. I’m wishing for Blizzard to serve me sushi, and then in their other hand, they have your chicken. I really do NOT understand your disconnect.
In the content I do MM has issues which is being addressed with these changes.
The content you do is so trivial it doesn’t matter.
That’s why Blizz is doing the change that majority of MM hunters have been asking for.

It’s frustrating when you’re trying to calmly express ideas, and explain that this is a compromise that both sides aren’t going to be entirely happy about, but one side has accepted it, and the other hasn’t and then you continuously get discredited by people who don’t even read half of the response, and then want to try and take the moral high ground, meanwhile discounting the opinion and thoughts of the other side of the fence entirely.
Like what do you expect to happen?
Tell my friend who camped forever to get a rare pet in Vanilla that he should accept a better design for math reason…the holiday spirit is truly dead.

If these changes are generated for higher end players, then in reality, the change is being made for the minority.

This restaurant has been trying to serve Sushi and cooked Chicken for the past decade and they’re simply not capable of doing it.
For the love of God what do you think todays MM is, if not an attempt to allow people both a Pet and no Pet in one spec?
It’s just not viable. How are you not grasping this? Blizzard has shown us that it just doesn’t work.
You can’t put too much weight onto the Pet because then No Pet isn’t viable.
You can’t put too much weight onto not having a Pet because then the pet is useless.
And the idea of achieving a perfect balance is just pure delusion.
If they could achieve balance between Pet/No Pet in one spec, we wouldn’t even be here.
