Yeah, but it’s not needed in today’s wow… The game has changed, I haven’t used a pet solo (or at all unless I need to summon one for utility) for years. I have no problem with any solo content, even delves. One concussive shot is enough to do the trick in 99% of all solo situations. The ONLY thing that is affected is elites out in the world. But these are not intended to be solo’d anyway, you don’t see boomkins or rogues soloing these guys, they need groups too. We at least have the option of going BM, or we can group up like everyone else.
The days of wow solo content being difficult enough to need a personal tank are long gone.
i kinda think lone wolf fits MM hunter fine, not having a pet is preferred for 99% of instances. but sometimes you’re in MM spec and you see a really cool new pet model that you wanna use for later, and so it’s easier to tame it in MM if it’s not exotic. lone wolf lets you have the choice to have a pet out, and i’m fine with having the choice even if most times I’m not using a pet in MM.
i think removing the ability to have a pet for low level cosmetic farming is also annoying, tbh, but it’s easy enough to switch to BM or even survival for that. fetch is my favorite part of using my hunter to farm stuff, after all.
overall though I dislike removing personal choice from players even if some players choose a non-optimal route. this is an RPG, and there should still be elements of an RPG in it. if a mm hunter player chooses to have a pet in non cutting edge content, they should be allowed. even if they just want to have the pet out to take screencaps, they should be allowed.

Also, Hocus is the person who tried to tell me I wasn’t a friend to the LGBTQ because I shortened it to LGBT a few times. Even though I’m ace. I reckon they’d forgotten. I have a good memory.
It is 100% a dogwhistle, as much as they try to avoid it. That same poster between their other chars has posted quite a lot of similar content to that - not including their usual insulting nature in most threads.

Unfortunately, yes, it is. It is straight up the indoctrination/groomer myth which is used to demonize our community. It’s not the “only sex ed teachers should teach sex ed” mott and bailey defense you try to give them.

Yeah but you don’t care if Snoz and others post claiming majority, you don’t push back on them on that. Which is very much substantiated in this thread alone.

You made (one) post at the very start of the thread that pushed back at something Snoz said. One. You gave a ton more push back to everyone else in the thread and going back and forth on pet or no pet, and telling people to “get used to it” because your own spec had changes you didn’t like once upon a time. Plus again, you can search their posts for slur usage and find some. If you don’t want to do that, that’s fine. On you, because you don’t substantiate anything yourself.
