Please do something to Incendius

Please allow free transfers off, layer, or increase server capacity. It is affecting every single raiding guild on the server. You have swarms of people logging in 1-2 hours early for raids now and if you disconnect during the raid you are done for the night. This is not a normal classic experience and was solely caused by allowing unregulated server transfers.

Layering only has to do with people you see not available capacity to log into the server.

I was looking for a server in which to level my alt alliance for when TBC comes out, thanks incendius

They also did do something about it, you can pay a small fee to transfer off like I did to another server from Stalagg. If you don’t like this option then I’m sorry but you do have the power to fix it right now.

Yea, we are sitting at a 2 hour queue right now. It’s just not acceptable. I’ve been on this server since day one, leveled multiple alts. Transferring off all my characters is not an option, not to mention I’m invested in a guild as well.

Transfers TO this server should have been shut off many weeks ago, yet, they are still available. This server should be locked and free transfers OFF the server should be implemented.

This is Blizzards fault from inception. Failing to properly balance the servers and causing players to flee; compounding the problem.

What you mean? Its great business for them. Make it unbearable until you gotta $$$ more. Thats all they care

Short term, probably. Long term, no way. People aren’t going to sit around and stare at a two hour queue every night nor will many people jump servers. They’ll cancel subs and move on.

And before someone else says it, the answer isn’t using remote desktop and crafting ways to circumvent the afk flag/DC. You’re just walking on a broken foot.

Perhaps you could change your raiding schedule?

I bet they gonna remove the 3 months restriction so the “to-transfers” can also become the new “off-transfers”

That happens to not be the case.

blizzard historically has largely ignored server population issues. they have never acknowledged faction imbalances. had they taken proactive measures in the launch of the game, classic would have played out in a much healthier manner. however, the incompetence and perhaps delusional philosophy in the dev room has made this game more turbulent than it should have been. in blizzards mind, this is a matter to be sorted out by the playerbase. until they fix this mindset, $25 please.

Raid schedule has nothing to do with it. However, raid schedules have already been pushed back to later times because of this. Also, I don’t play this game simply to raid and then go to bed. Not being able to play for two hours, every night, is ridiculous… especially since transfers are still open!

Oh, you fixed the problem.

Cool.

To clarify, I think you mean to find another guild with a different raiding schedule, right?

No, I meant the guild could change their raiding schedule so everyone can be on time.

They have never done anything about limiting server transfers before. If you notice it becoming a problem ask for a guild meeting to address what the solution could be. Changing raid days/hours or transferring could be an option.

Can’t really blame people for wanting to be on full servers. I understand why “natives” of the server are frustrated but basically you can either learn to live with it or transfer off. Blizzard is never going to shut off the transfer train, they make too much $ from it.

I’ll be leveling an alt on incendius! Thanks

People initially join guilds that align with times they’re available to raid. Simply changing the raid schedule for a guild to a time where 40-45 people are available to do it just doesn’t happen. You’ll wind up picking times people can’t make, and you’ll lose people.

You’re not providing legitimate solutions. Blizzard caused this screw-up by allowing free transfers to the server. They can solve it by allowing free transfers off. It’s pretty simple.

Pretty sure folks are already implementing the solution I put forward. Feels pretty legit to me.
