I’m really struggling here trying to get Acuity. In the last expansions I was flooded with Mettle, but now I need 300 each for my tools, 150 each for recipes, and I’m having a very difficult time as a tailor/enchanter to get it. What happened to the DF mechanic? Please find a better way to get us Acuity.

My tailor/enchanter has over 1000 and a few blue tools as well as a couple of recipes how are you struggling?
You don’t need to buy everything first week you know.

The expansion’s been out for two months. It’s not the first week. I got 1000 too but since you didn’t read what I wrote, let me reiterate: 300 a pop goes fast.

Did you go production quality/quantity instead of item crafting?
its really not that bad, the purpose is to get people to specialize and in that sense its worked, everyone doesn’t need everything a month and w/e in the expo

there are way more profession recipes on vendors that need acuity to buy. there weren’t nearly that many in DF.
some professions use much less for crafting than others. alchemy for example doesn’t use much. others use LOTS.
I would love to be able to trade in the old artisan’s mettle for acuity. 25 to 1 maybe?
at the very least make the old mettle sellable for decent gold, so i don’t have them taking up so many slots.
They are talking like they just started that character. If they started it the first week of the expansion they should be close to having earned 2000 AA unless they are missing huge sources.
Yeah but you get 150 a week - enough to buy a new recipe a week.
First week was rough, but I seem to have more as time goes on. I think they deliberately make it a slow trickle so we can’t get all recipes and all profession items right away, we need to work on it for a month or two. But rest assured, once you’ve got everything, it’ll pile up.

Do the patron orders.
I’ve all recipes from acuity plus 4 tools already crafted – bought all except the last 400 acuity knowledge book.
You’re not being handed free acuity anymore.

Obtaining Artisan’s Acuity is a pain, and I still have to drop 2,400 for Rare profession equipment. I bought all the recipes (Alchemy) and skill books, yet left with just over 400 currently while only getting about 20 per day from Patron Work Orders… This is going to be excruciating.

It really depends on how you spec. If you spec into items that Patron orders require you will have a bunch of acuity. I’ve gathered every single Acuity I possibly could being a gem JC and an equipment Tailor.
I have every KP book available and I’m missing about 3-5 tailoring patterns. I’m missing one blue equipment slot in both professions.
In one week I’ll be able to churn out R3 Blasphemite with zero concentration and I can almost make every single cloth piece with zero concentration.
