And let me state outright that MM without a pet is just a lesser version. BlizZard will penalize MM without a pet to be weaker than other ranged casters. The BlizZard rug pull is coming for MM. We all know it and see it coming from a mile away.

mafic is right MM should be a pet spec. they should rework MM to add more pet talents. think about it: how cool would it be?

what if aimed shot had a talent that made it so aimed shot was instant and left a bleed on your target? and what if it made your pet attack faster stacking up to three times?

Please do not remove MM’s access to traditional pets. This is not wanted or needed. For those who don’t want pets, don’t pull them out. For those who say they need pets to bring something special to the table, bake that into spells. All the crap they’re putting for the Eagle can be put in as something ‘chosen’ and still have a pet. Choose the Eagle tree or the pet tree. Or make a 4th spec. But yanking traditional pets from a hunter - forget spec, just hunter itself - is not a good move. It destroys class fantasy for many players. Not everyone, of course, but…this feels like cutting off the nose to spite the face.

That’s exactly what they are doing now. MM is being remade into a pet spec, with an eagle. no player choice.

the eagle stuff isn’t far enough since it exists outside of the game space and not something you ever see or hae to micro. it should be a full pet

It will become one over time, according to the intentions shared. And other than AI and pathing, it’s effectively the same as BM with their kill command, barbed shot, etc.

You see you are very smart because you can see the BlizZard rug pull coming a mile away. Look at how they rug pulled Survival and Outlaw over time. Both specs are in shambles.

exactly I think every spec in the game should be a fully mobile bow spec with a pet. think how cool fire mage would be like that
