Please do NOT remove the MM pet

I’m just glad I’ll finally be free of the few pigeonholed pet species I’ve been stuck with for years.

The only real concern is that now MM will take more damage in solo content.

Maybe they can add a dark succor like talent for aimed shot. After every kill aimed shot heals for 20% hp or something. Because pets do eat a lot of our incoming damage.

The summoning pet, that is our skill, in our toolkit, that is going to be removed

??

Stop clowning, MM have the choice to use or not use depending on your gameplay. Just because YOU dont do content that require a pet doesnt mean the spec dont use it

There is, again, is moronic, insensitive and condescending.

You are not being friendly, nice, saying something that was already parroted and debunked countless times over, you are adding fuel to the fire.

Again, you would not appreciate if i told you to play another class if you think it was stale.

Yet, they are removing for then.

PVPers use pet, its almost 100% mandatory in most comps and BGs, so quite funny comment here.

And you would not like if they removed lone wolf, forced the pet on you and people told you to play mage cause there is no pets there.

Of course you are one of these halfwits that cant understand that they can make all the proposed changes and still maintain the ability to summon the pet, even if becomes an worse ooption for pve content.

Um not forcing “my way of play” on others, unlike you, im advocating for both of us to have our own ways to play, just like we have now by picking lone wolf or not.

This is the only thing you’ve said that I can agree with, yes we could have both, that would be nice.

Unfortunately though you are in fact a clown, a disingenuous one at that. All of your arguments stem on “durr you’re a moron and insensitive.” If you can’t provide a solution to a problem don’t even bother entering the conversation. Allowing pets to be summoned is obviously the answer, you aren’t big brain for thinking of it. However, the developers are going a different direction for now, so adapt or die…or in your case adapt or cry.

Between now and when the actual patch lands anything can happen, who knows maybe the devs will hear the collective crying of the pet enjoyers and allow you to summon your puppy even with the proposed changes, but first we have to wait to see how the new MM spec plays.

Until then any argument advocating for no changes is pointless and counterproductive.

Well, first of all, i didn’t said you are a moron, i said you are a halfwit, after you called me turkey.

Second, if you don’t want to be called out for being insensitive, don’t make insensitive and condescending comments telling people to play another spec, like it was a brilliant idea that no one though about it

only by “crying” they will revert this change.

Like they did before, twice at that, it is at this time, early as possible, that they need to understand is a bad change

There are arguments that are productive in the feedback thread:

Let’s work on your spelling and grammar first before we start calling people halfwits.

Buddy, imagine that there are three paths you can take and one of the paths is on fire, am I insensitive for suggesting you take one of the other paths instead? If that makes me insensitive then fine, I’m insensitive, oh well.

Let them cook.

That’s nice, but that’s not what I said, read what I said.

The example you just gave is a change.

EDIT: After actually reading your proposed change I gotta say, what a terrible idea that makes no sense. You’ve almost suggested changing MM the exact way the devs are planning on changing it but worse…what on earth.

I’m out, not wasting anymore time on you.

Ah, the second step when you are losing an argument, calling out the grammar, a classic! Sorry if i spelled something wrong on a internet forum professor!

Now i can call you a moron.

Yes, unless the people are blind, which is not the case here.

Besides, your comparison doesnt rly hold, nothing is on fire yet, its not live.

They already told the recipe is missing an ingredient, they need it to proper cooking

The point is, literally no one is advocating for no changes, at all, they only said to not remove the pet.

So you think what they are doing makes no sense and its terrible? cause its the same of what i said?

but let me walk trough you, since you did not understand the intent behind my suggestion: Its literally to keep the changes, since they are good, but in a way that still support the option to play with the pet if one wishes so

And the third step, pigeon chess, truly a classic.

Or heck, add a new class that has the petlessness (like Tinker or something idk)

Coulda fooled me with how many threads I’ve seen you appear in, you’re clearly in distress about losing your pixel pets.

Don’t hold back I’ve been calling you a turkey and a moron for a few posts now…moron.

Good grief you are dense aren’t you, I’m not explaining it again.

I can tell that you thinking you’ve “won” an argument on the WoW forums will quickly become the highlight of your 2025.

Peace out Turkey :v: :turkey:

And this isn’t you?:

came back to lost more time because i triggered you somehow?

You are the one that made a strawman to attack, since no one made that argument.

Just like you said you did before? :joy: :dove:

I have a post on my own country/fórum BR regarding the same petition. Please make sure like and give ur support there for we help each other with this STUPID REMOVING.
Blizzard can do whatever she wants, but let pet stay in the MM build for who want call it IN THAT SPEC.

PLEASE BLIZZARD: DO NOT REMOVE PET FROM THE SPEC MM, LET THIS OPTION STILL BE ABLE FOR WHO WANT THE PET ON THAT THE MM SPEC.

Thanks and waiting your support there too!!

Before, it was the crown of CC - you could trap, pet tank, sleep and kite all the enemies while your party dealt with the priority targets. It also would buff the agility of your party via expose weakness, giving a substantial DPS boost.

That style of gameplay wouldn’t fly in today’s design.

No. Giving up my pets after 20 years of MM? No, I will not stop til they give the option to keep them. They go from lone wolf as a option to no pets and no option to use them? That is insane. Who decided to make 1 talent the whole damm spec? What are they even thinking after having tried to take pets from hunter specs in the past, not once, but twice and players had a fit? MM hunters who use their pets do not want to play other specs or they would already be playing them. My MM hunter is 20 years old and has been MM since day 1 and always had pets. I and others have no wish to lose the access to them as MM hunters. It would be like telling Destro or Afflic warlocks that they don’t need pets.

I want to, but it will not let me like the post. I have concidered going to iPetitions though and making one to petition blizzard to rethink the no pets for MM stance and leave the option to summon them in the spec. Since they are not taking pets from warlock specs or Surv hunters.

Same here.
100% AGREE. They can change whatever they want, but keep the option of sumon a pet who still love this on Marks Spec.

I put a petition up on ipetitions, but it will not let me post URLs here, this is the best I can get

I wonder why it rejects URLs for me? Even when I use the link function. I can’t post pictures either.

It rejects for me too, but if you put four spaces in front of it, then it puts it in a code block and does not prevent it

You guys are trying to force Lone Wolf on all the MM hunters, rather than let it remain an optional talent. In refusing to allow the option to remain to summon a pet, you are saying ‘my way or the highway’.

We aren’t forcing anything, we have no control over what the devs do, all we can do is give our feedback and that’s exactly what we’re doing.

I’ve already said it, keeping the option to summon a pet as MM if you really want to is fine. It also goes both ways, if Blizzard were to listen to all the crybabies complaining about Lone Wolf and force the non pet enjoyers to use a pet, I would be bummed, but that’s obviously not the vision the developers have for MM.

People like you seem willing to fight to the death to keep your pets, petitions and all…but as I’ve also said, let’s just give them a chance first, yeah?

20 years…it’s time to change it up a bit and try something new. Let us test it out on the PTR for a bit, then we can all start signing petitions and tell Blizzard how many Kleenex we’ve gone through in the hopes it actually changes their minds if it turns out we don’t like it.
