And guess what people can experience literally the rest of the game with out feeling like they are mandated to do world quests so they feel caught up.
Why should one small group of the player base who refuses to participate in anything else other than world quests dictate how the rest of the player base does world quests
I don’t see a problem with that. It’s not like I need to do world quests for PvP or dungeons or raids. Meanwhile it will give solo people something to do. Hell, maybe I’ll be doing them because I usually do solo PvE. I’m personally not going to feel any fomo over not getting some world quest rewards.
WQs do not drop Renown gear. And if you actually cared about those Renown pieces, you’d already be Renown 20 and have them like you’re whining others do. And why wouldn’t you celebrate being able to get more rep?
So which is it? Do you or do you not care about them? How many more goalposts would you like to move?
In a week those 4 lousy pieces are going to be worthless. You don’t have an argument here.
Explain to me what happens if I get to Renown 30 before you do because I logged in to do World Quests daily and you wanted to keep doing them every few days.
Explain how that is a detriment to your gameplay experience, keeping in mind:
We don’t play on the same server
I don’t do M+ dungeons so we are not competing for spots in a party
Neither do I raid at higher than a queued level
I don’t do high-end crafting so we won’t be competing at the AH if I get recipes sooner
All I want is to log in daily, grind a little rep on WQs, feel like I’m making some progress, and move on to RP for the rest of the night. Apparently there are a lot of people like me, the “De-stress through light grind rep rewards content” crowd.
Explain to me how we make the game worse for you and how making one of the primary things that we like to do, and you apparently hate to do but can’t seem to stop doing for some reason, more available.
…So making the grind more tiresome and worse by putting in more artificial wait times then what WQ’s already had at launch of Legion is somehow a quality of life improvement?
No, don’t reconsider. Infact, double down on this Blizzard. Give us infinite WQ’s a day for us. Give us more ways to get renown please. I want it be like the good ole days where you turn cloth in for rep or just farm guys for rep all day, but have this be in addition.
I mean, I’m kinda on the edge on this. Thinking about it now it does kinda annoy me that I’ll be feeling slightly bad for not loggin in on all my alts if there’s a particularly juicy world quest reward one day. And it’s definitely gonna be distracting me from all other stuff, because I will have to fomo all gear world quests first before feeling free to do everything else.
Those people need to learn to play some other games when there’s nothing to do in WoW.
That’s kind of how WoW has always been though. There have been tons of changes over the years to cater to raiders, m+, and PvP players… almost none of which really mattered to more than a few percent of players.
There’s literally a hundred other things you can do. Go smash old dungeons for mogs/mounts/pets, go work on alts, go work on professions, go pet battling, go complete achievements, go work on older content that you haven’t experienced yet, etc etc.
What about the people that enjoy playing alts but don’t want to sit there for hours every day just doing world quests to keep them up to speed? Are you saying we should ruin it for them instead? I guarantee that there are far more people that play alts like that than people that come online to ONLY do world quests.
Now you’re just saying ridiculous things that obviously would never be something people would consider. This doesn’t prove any point you may have.
Then again, they do change raiding based on what the top few % of players, so I’m not surprised they’d want to change it for the small % of people that only do dailies and nothing else.
