Please do enhance shaman talent tree ( ideas pitch in)

enhance talent tree needs a massive rework it’ has been so stale and stagnant for way to long .

Some ideas move crash lightning to the left of the tree not a bridging talent.

witch doctors should only be 1 talent not 2, same with elemental assault and legacy of the frost witch.

Make alpha wolf actually playable (Imagine getting all the way down the tree and having a talent not even worthy of playing)

thats really all that needs to be done to make it ideal imo.

Easy

Reduce the following talent nodes from 2-points down to 1-point:

  • Improved Maelstrom Weapon
  • Molten Assault
  • Hot Hand
  • Elemental Weapons
  • Primal Maelstrom
  • Elemental Assault
  • Witch Doctor’s Ancestry
  • Legacy of the Frost Witch
  • Static Accumulation

This would immediately free up lots of talent points to be spent elsewhere, helping Enhancements Shamans feel like they can invest in a more balanced play-style instead of hyper-focusing into just “elemental” or “lightning” play-styles.

Harder

  1. Bring back Frostbrand Weapon as a 2-handed-only weapon enchant. Lots of potential here, especially if/when introducing lots of choice nodes that could really let Enhancement players lean into their Frost element.
  2. Have Ascendance and Feral Spirit share a choice node with one another.
    • Move Ascendance off its current choice node competing with Deeply Rooted Elements, as has been done in the other trees with their revamps.
    • Have Witch Doctor’s Ancestry also reduce the cooldown of Ascendance.
    • Separate Elemental Spirits and Alpha Wolf into their own nodes, then add additional benefits onto each respective talent which affects Ascendance.
  3. Change Primordial Wave from an active ability to a proc or something that becomes available with every other cast of Crash Lightning (or something). Adjust numbers accordingly.
  4. Provide talent options which give Stormstrike a chance to automatically cast Lightning Bolt, Lava Lash to automatically cast Lava Burst, Crash Lightning to automatically cast Chain Lightning, etc. If taken, these spells will no longer be able to cast manually (something to simplify the button bloat/rotation at the cost of agency in terms of when exactly these abilities trigger… perhaps always automatically triggering on the next cast of one of the abilities the moment the player reaches max stacks of Maelstrom weapon).
  5. Convert Stormstrike into Stormstrike damage. There shouldn’t be any “strictly Physical” damage in the Enhancement tree, particularly since it doesn’t deal with any strictly Physical abilities.
  6. Perhaps consider providing talent options for Enhancement to lean toward a more “support DPS” role, always on choice nodes which competes with a significantly better “pure DPS” talent.

Just some ideas.

I would like some changes like this:

Elemental Assault: Put it in tier 1, just below Stormstrike. Generating MW si so basic to the spec that this talent is pretty much mandatory to have a very smooth gameplay and not be starving. Make it a 1 talent point for 100% MW chance and no damage buff.

Hailstorm: With the inclusion of Stormbringer as Hero Talent we are gonna have a lot of huge Chain Lightning and Tempest AoE damage. Hailstorm is gonna contribute a lot to bloat in the priority of abilities. Right now I prefer to have more damage on CL instead of having to manage Hailstorm stacks and Ice Strike buffs.

Primordial Wave: I never liked this. It only worked because of the tier set. I think that everyone liked Chain Harvest a lot more. And it contributes a lot to button bloat.

Doom Winds: Buff it to 10-12 sec on a 1 min cooldown.

Maelstrom Weapon: There’s 3 talents to improve this, which take 4 talent points to maximize. Stop it, condense it in just 2 points and end it.

Lava Lash: Same problem, 5 talents and 7 talent points to improve this ability. Really? Do we need this much for just 1 ability that is not that great?

Windfury Weapon: Again, just 1 ability and 3 talent points to make it worth something. This imbue should be baseline and then 1 or 2 talents to improve it. make is baseline because it’s also important for MW generation.

This is the important to me.

omg mate these changes would be perfect and so helpful to enh

however, I doubt that Blizzard doesnt really have any class designer who would like to look into these ideas of enh. I believe that since the roll back in sdl expansion, they basically abandoned this spec
