If they were logged in before the maintenance they they didnt get logged out
Or maybe they hopped onto a private server. Who cares, it’s a streamer. Just ignore them.

It looks like realms ARE up but many of us just cannot even get on.

It’s because they logged in after the server restart but right before the Battle net services went down. This is NOT some kind of conspiracy. There’s other people playing that are not Streamers…JFC people.

Yep, servers are up but some IP’s are getting blocked.
there was a small time window like 10-15 min after servers went down, that alot of us were able to login for whatever reason…
streamers just happens to get in at the right time.
im on and a handful of guildies and none of us are streamers.

I was definitely logged in before and got kicked out. It looks like it might have been a window to re-login before the login servers were taken down because it looks like the actual game servers are up. Really ridiculous
There is literally a notification from Blizzard telling you that battle net services are down for maintenance for at least another 30 minutes. IP’s are NOT being blocked FFS.

How do we know they are not “live streaming” prerecorded video so they can prank the community?

Blizzard has Expressed numerous times that they give preferential treatment to streamers

Going to add to my previous comments since a LOT of you have zero idea how any of this works.
The login server and game realms/server are two COMPLETELY separate things. You have to login first in order to access the servers. It’s entirely possible to get the login done, get into a server then have ONLY the login services go down – this will not impact your ability to play on the server once you have completed the login process.
Those that are playing, got in after this moring’s server restart, but before the maintenance on battle net login/services.
