(Possibly other specs as well, needs testing.)
I recorded the damage of 15 instant poison applications from each type of poison (Wound and Deadly.) I made sure there were no aura procs or other buffs/factors in play. (Removed Trinket as well) I ran the test 3 times and got the same results using the same marked dummy outside the heart of the forest. Data collected with Details.
With Lethal Poison Conduit.
Wound- Average hit: 69. Average crit: 141
Deadly- Average hit: 149. Average crit: 305
Without Lethal Poison Conduit.
Wound- Average hit: 70. Average crit: 141
Deadly- Avereage hit: 149. Average crit: 305
As you can see the Conduit Is not working. If anyone can test and replicate that would be helpful thanks.

What is “lethal”? Did you mean instant/deadly?

Yeah exactly that. I edited and clarified the post thanks.
Not much a surprise, I have noticed stuff like this in Classic also, where things just… aren’t working at all.
Kinda wonder if the game engine has some corrupt functions or something, because it makes me curious on what is going on here… Its not rogue specific either, but frankly just a lack of testing and quality control.

Yeah this is kind of… terrible. I need someone else to test real quick and verify so I can file a bug report
if i was at the office I would love to help. Ill check it out tomorrow

Someone else got the same results so I posted it in the “bug report” forum. Still if you get a chance to check - try it on a different spec and post your results

That’s the best action we can make.
Yeah I think so. It probably wont hurt to file in game bug reports too.
The assassination channel in the rogue discord ran recently ran some tests in response to this post and found that the conduit IS working as intended. Feel free to hop in there for more specific information.

The conduit works for the poison’s DIRECT DAMAGE. Not the DoT damage.
