We had ONE feral druid for the crit buff for our melee people that like to parse. ONE. And now she’s quitting because she spent today farming her MCPs, got only 3 and instanced locked herself. Now she can’t do dungeons she wanted to do tonight with people. Decided, nope, this isn’t viable to play a class that’s gonna lock all her toons out. So thanks. Thanks a lot Blizz. You suck. GAH! That was our only free innervate for healers too! Comment all you want, I’m not responding as I don’t care to fight any of you. I just want Blizz to know how much they suck.

My point is that if 1 piece of gear means you quit the game that is pretty telling and presents a sad state of affairs within your guild.

Uh yeah, great buffs lol. But for reals, she’s a really good player, always on her game. And yeah the buffs should be mentioned but the whole freaking raid fights over being in her group. We have to rotate people out to be fair to everyone for their parses. People saying feral druids arent worth bringing… well we definitely have people who love having her so

Feral dps currently beats mages, locks, and hunters. Let’s face it, we’re all jokes compared to fury warrior and rogue dps.

OR they could just make it so when you repair it restores the charges, then they only have to carry a few of them and can use repair bots to restore charges mid raid.

It does impact botters by forcing additional behaviors and granting additional data to Blizzard to automatically track botting behavior more accurately.

It has minimal impact on regular players outside of those people that have come to expect to make use of “Reset All Instances” in a particular way for particular items in long stretches of time.

First of all, I’m not sure how true this is. There definitely seems to be a lack of raiding feral druids. Maybe we get one. Maybe we don’t. Second, I’m sad we’re losing a good player on our raid team with a personalty that fit. So thank you for your suggestion, snarky as it was:

It doesn’t actually fix the real problem here. No suggestions here are actually going to fix our problem. So you guys who keep suggesting things in snarky (or maybe you even think helpful) ways but I’m not looking for these actually non-helpful suggestions.

We will make the raid work and work with what we can. We got it covered. This isn’t our first rodeo. We’ll be fine. We’ll “fix” our problem.

This thread is for feedback to Blizzard. The instance cap change affected us in a negative way. “Here’s an idea, get another” doesn’t change that.

Ultra casuals didn’t call for Classic Wow, it’s not their game. That aside, we do in fact form these form groups sometimes for those ultra casuals who don’t know about these things to begin with. Helping them out is a part of what helps the community grow. Placing limits on instance resets only limits the degree to which we can form groups with such people. It’s totally arbitrary and unwanted.

Your arrogance is astounding. Oh thank you so much gracious hardcore leet gamer for deigning to help us poor filthy casuals with our gaming. Without the godly wisdom from private server heroes and people who were ‘there’ when it all happened the first time, I’d still be stuck in kharanos sucking on my computer mouse and dying to crag boars.

The vast majority of wow players play as casual. Always have. That’s what forum warriors don’t get. The majority of gamers probably spend less than 10 hours a week on this hobby. Get off your high horse with your “it’s not their game” you can bite my butt.

Honestly, making more threads about how this affects MCPs is likely to get that specific issue fixed for the druids that have noted the problem. Maybe make it so each MCP has more charges…

Or make the MCP unique to fix that exploit.

No suggestions here are actually going to fix our problem.

I mean… if you want to dismiss everything as “snarky” and really want to get into the meat of things… your druid and other druids are abusing a gimmicky level 30 item in end game content. If you protest too loudly, Blizzard is just going to nerf the item. That’s what they do. That’s what they ALWAYS do.

So if you actually care about druids, let this one go. Stop drawing attention to it, 30 instances a day is PLENTY to farm MCP’s, it’s like a 35% drop rate.

Make MCP have a cooldown instead of uses.

This is a good idea. Also, have it drop from BRD, Scholo, or BRS if it’s going to be the Druid BiS weapon. No one is going to convince me that repeatedly farming a level 30 instance for multiple copies of a BiS weapon was an intended mechanic.
