- Starting the raid on time
- Not wanting to wipe on bosses we would normally one shot just because the super casuals who doesnât care to put effort into their characters wants a free carry

If my guild master invites anyone and everyone who wants to come to raid, I will leave the guild because by doing so he would be allowing these lazy people to waste the time of the other 10-15 people who attends the raid regularly.
This 1000%, as a returning player, this system is terrible.
On top of the gating for the essences and everything else, this is just too much. There is a already a vision cap, thats enough. Let us run Visions to catch up!

Then I can understand ⌠but heroic and normal , you can carry a lot of ppl without any issues . And isnât the point of a guild to help guild members ?
If youâre defending a system that takes 3 months to catch up⌠well⌠thereâs really just no hope for you is there?
Blizzard made the last expansion patch - the longest patch when people get bored and want to make alts - impossible to get alts up to the DPS of mains - in a genius move that could only be conceived of by a company that also came up with the weekly chest and gushing wounds in arena.

Entirely the only reason I even care about this Cloak Catch up.
As a returning PvPer, you cannot even play your Game Mode, due to this bull.
EZ clap for me, disable this crap in PVP. Raiders and Casuals that Farm a time gated PVE item, SHOULD NOT have a massive advantage in PVP, that should be skill based, with some gear gap okay as long as its PVP based.
The only reason I left classic to come back here, was the postive posts showing they will be fixing that in SL. With this though, my hopes are dwindling so BC might be the better option for the PVP community.
Itâs Heroic - you talk as if you really know how progression raiding works.
The ones who has the right to say âyou can carry a lot of ppl without any issuesâ are the ones who carries people, not people like you who got carried and was dead when you got your AOTC and only Nâzoth kill.

The current raid tier has long since been over. If you are âProgressingâ Heroic at this time, thats an even bigger problemâŚ

The raid was cleared on mythic with rank 8 cloaks.
If your guild is requiring max corruption resistance for heroic there are A LOT of other mistakes happening.
Where did I ever say we are requiring max corruption resistance for Heroic?
I said in my first post we donât want people coming in with their rank 5 cloaks.
So it seems it takes around 6k views for Blizzard to actually take the time to view a thread on these forums and respond (according to the recent AH post). That is unfortunate. Post like these have over triple the likes (over 2k views) and not even a single blue response.

Malefic cores should rain from the freakin sky, especially for alts. This is not fun content. This is the boring chore that you have to do before you get to the fun.
There is no reason to gate cloak resistance. We already have to grind to run visions AND buy corruptions (which also should not be on a rotating schedule). Thatâs enough work.

I am waiting to see How blizzard handle this. If they donât do thing about these system people think is problem then they would be doing same thing for shadowlands. Whenever they make bad system, instead of trying to fix the core problem they will just add more convoluted system only exists for more time gating. I am sick of it but from what I have seen in BFA, that was always their answer. Ion did say shadowladns is going to be alt friendly but Ion always talks about thing and never follows his own word, so why even bother. I am tired of these chores and if they think itâs fine I will be doing these same thing again in shadowlands. Well I am not doing that.

Should just mail them to you imo. Gear too. Actually, opening the mailbox would be too much work. Itâs late in the xpac, just create all new alts at 485 ilvl.
Time gating is their business model now it seems, and wonât change in Shadowlands either. Itâs evident since they arenât fixing the issues that players have been complaining about the most when it comes to time gates In BFA. I am really starting to regret pre-ordering Shadowlands now.

You are right. TImegates are much worse than the botting going on in classic. We canât have the multiple boxers/ chinese gold farmers inconvenienced by timegates.

I only found out this week that my cloak can go past 15. Its not communicated anywhere in game.
