you brought back Chris Metzen, one of the original minds behind warcraft. Wrath is the symbolic end of the core story threads established in the warcraft RTS games that Chris had an outsized influence over. Given wrath is that end, please leave a wrath era server so we can continue to create new characters, explore all the continents as they were before the Cata changes. There is already a place to explore a Cata Azeroth in retail. Don’t have Classic era be the only way to visit the original Azeroth. I personally won’t play Cata but I’m not saying “don’t make cata”. Just make a Wrath Era server, maintain the Classic Era servers and you’ll have a paying sub from me for years to come.

Cata is coming. Wrath gets deleted. I already unsubbed because of it. Not playing that crap. That is the expansion that destroys the Classic world. Messes with a bunch of the zone levels, destroys some zones, removes so many abilities. Blizzard is about to destroy WoW a second time all over again. Proof that they really have learned nothing.
Microsoft is going to regret buying this company now.

Cata is amazing, best expansion ever created. I absolutely cant wait for it! That said, as with all expansions, Blizzard really should keep a Wrath era server once Cata releases. They should do the same with TBC.
While i plan to play Cata forver, everyone has their own personal favorite expansion… and if they want to maximize subscription income they should keep Era servers.

Ive been playing cata nonstop on pservers since MoP happened. I absolutely adore it. Everyone has their own favorites. Im not hating on yours, which i assume is wrath, but you cant just assert your feelings on everyone else.
I hope they leave an era server so people like you can play that, and the people like me can go play Cata. Everyone’s happy.

Xpac is super good for the casters. But I will tell you one thing. You all want Cata so bad? I will promise you one thing… you wont get it. Look what they did to Wrath. You expect this team is going to come in and make a Cata that lives up to your expectations?
I actually enjoyed wotlk classic and what the team did with it 
I love all classes during 4.3.4., including melee (especially your class - rogues - which are soooo fun in cata). I just dont agree with your assessment. And thats OK - thats why they should have Era servers for Wotlk (and TBC).

They deleted TBC. Say by to Wrath. Oh and by the way? You cant just go into Cata… you got to pay to clone your toons over. You have 5 level 80s? That’s 300 dollars you need to give to pay to play your toons in Cata. They will probably once again have that clone service where you have to pay 60 per toon just to play it. Feel bad for the people who have one or two mains with a bunch of alts. Imagine if you wanted to keep playing 20 of your toons, or 30? You might end up having to pay over $1,000 just to keep playing your toon if they do the same paid for clone service stuff that they have done in the past.
Oh and WoW tokens… for your GDKPs.
Ummmm ok 1 The only mistake blizzard made with wrath was no rdf at the Start And if you really want to bring up the wow token ummmm 20 for 5k or Your average gdp pay out is 10k + hmmmmmm So why would you play money for gold.

Aka You only had to pay if you wanted to clone More than one time so ya So now if thay do a wrath era You could make that argument but again that’s up to the player to decide.
There was no RDF at the start of last Wrath either. It came out during the exact same content path that it did last time, which was right when ICC dropped.
Should be free to move your toon over into the next Classic expac. IF it is such a good hting…why didnt they do that in retail for Dragonflight? Why didnt they charge you 60 per toon that you wanted to move over and then delete your toons that you didnt move over and then delete Shadowlands from being able to play. If this is such a great system that you love so much, why not ask for it in retail then. And why was it never around in last Classic?

Cata had more subs in 2010 than wrath had in 2009, and firelands was one of the best PVE raid experiences (content was actually hard)
Cata arena was one of the best pvp experiences, (next to mop) as end of wotlk it was nothing but broken cringe PREG PALA/ARMSS warrior or PREG/DK or Arms/Hpala yeah garbage.

Is not The same thing From Classic era to tbc You are transferring a character to a realm Where everything is frozen It is a time capsule Effectively.
Now if blizzard for whatever reason Set up Realm where it was just going to be a permanent Is final phase of shadowlands You could make that argument but there are two different things.

Thats how long it took last time, the game died half way thru, they lost so many subs so quickly that you know what Blizzard did in response? They hid their sub numbers out of embarrassment. Cata ends the game, then MOP finishes it off. Subs kept dropping all the way until Legion. Craptaclsym kills the game.
You all will be complaining about how over powered the casters on in Cata… Just as I said you all would be complaining about rogues, rets and Dks and war in Wrath. In Cata, its boomkins, mages, hunters, ferals that you all will be asking for Blizzard to nerf nonstop.
And me unsubbing because of Cata? Hey do you want to know who else unsubbed before original Cata was over last time?..about 75% of the player base. Thats who.
How bad DF is right now… I have very little faith that their new expac will be any good at all. Probably another expac full of nerfed paladins.
