As title reads. Blizzard, please create a new chat channel for Warlock Summon services and Mage Portal services as their spamming makes the LookingForGroup channel unusable. This is not fair to the rest of the playerbase trying to use those channels for the appropriate purposes. All I see is “SUMMON HERE/SUMMON THERE” “PORTAL TO HERE/THERE” spammed again and again and again. It is difficult to advertise for a group or to find a group when the chat is flooded constantly by someone using three or more accounts at the same time. I think there should be a new channel created, as Ebonhardt said, and players who advertise services in LookingForGroup should be muted.

I agree with this.
I’ve started using an addon to read LFG chat now because of all the summons and now gold sellers. I don’t use the summons to get places. But I could tolerate a channel I just don’t have to join.
Also, my ignore list is full from trying to not see so many WTS in LFG chat.

Yes it’s extremely annoying and makes LFG borderline unuseable. Chat channels were not designed for having 5000+ players in them at the same time.
I think what we need instead though is a simple interface listing where people can post their group objective and who to contact. Nothing fancy. All we need is information permanence.

Surprised this thread isn’t getting as much attention as I had expected.
I think players should be allowed to sell summons and portals.
However, I believe there should be a separate chat channel for that.
You can’t read LookingForGroup or get a message in due to all the spam.
Warlocks are usually using three accounts, all advertising the same location with messages entered at the exact same time. Sometimes a Mage is a part of that trio.
I hope Blizzard acknowledges this request. It is making finding groups extremely difficult.
Please bump this thread and sign-on if you agree with a new channel being created, or a LFG user interface window being created to list services/groups.

If the community reported them, it would shut it down pretty fast. Pretty sure that it is channel misuse.

New summon/portal channel would be good.
But most of us are using the LFG bulletin board add on. If you’re using LFG chat without that add on, you’re not going to have a good time.
ive been for a global blizz sanctioned “Services” channel for a while now.
place all summon and other service things in that channel and people can join if wanted like looking for group channel.
Which is exactly why blizzard should crack down on these bots
just use the lfg bulletin board, it makes things infinitely easier for you, even if there were no bots spamming lfg for summons it would still be hard to read
