I am sure it has been posted before. But god we need this. It would be better than the game of thrones. The story is already written. Opening intro with a voice over on who Sargeras is, how he is a titan born from a planet such as Azeroth. How he fights the void to defend light. But gives up given the endlessness of the enemy and fights for them. Now wanting to destroy all other titans who stand in the way. Cut to Velen, Archimonde, and Kil’jaden… start there. give them the option to take his gifted power at a cost… Roll scene… jesus… am I the only one??? Even Arthas’ character could carry a full season… what are you doing?? Wanna bring new players to this game? Create the damn show
Were they to want to attract a large audience, I can think of a thousand stories more interesting to the average bloke than the draenei.

Except it’s not, the draenei were only retconned to give the alliance a ‘monstrous’ race.

A warcraft series would be pushing the definition of “live action” with the amount of cgi they would need unless you mean a human centric warcraft.

I’m sure it would be 95% human characters, though. Minimal CGI needed.
Live action is, in my opinion, part of why the movie failed. Live action and CGI tend to not be able to express higher levels of fantasy and action.

Dude no. The story of the eredar is the beginning of why velen left his home planet to outlands. It is a side story at the time, yes, but Velen left his plant to outlands where the orcs are. With the hate between race, the new draenei, created the bond with velen and Durotan. start scene
It would not have a budget like Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon. I doubt it would look better than the Disney+ Star Wars series, and those look pretty bad at times imo. Warcraft isn’t popular enough for live action ever again I bet. Animated, sure, but they burned their bridge with Netflix when they filed a lawsuit against them for Netflix poaching one of their employees.

not have the budget based on what knowledge? Blizzard is far more profitable then goerge rr martin ever was… thats it. approach a studio with a story… wth are you on about?
If the movie bombed in 2016 during one of the most popular expansions ever, then I just don’t see it happening in 2025 or ever again in any live action capacity.

thats a movie! They didn’t include half the damn story. The amount of story left untold in the movie is the problem.
I doubt they will take the risk of spending 100-150-200 million on a live action series.

They should though. us 35 year olds cant play this forever can we?? They have the money… $18 USD per month across millions of account… just from the game… With viewership rev from the show and new players wanting to join… I cannot see why not
