Do people even play Firestorm? I’ve seen 0 people use it this expansion.
Very specific niche circumstances warrant the use of firestorm, but honestly not worth sacrificing that much single target for it in general use scenarios. Volatility is pretty much all you need these days.
It WOULD be better if it were instant cast all the time.
Council in VOTI was literally the only time we played it.
I don’t want it to be instant, I want it to follow a target like warrior’s Ravager does.
Snapfire loses value if it’s baseline instant and not being penalized for movement is a much better improvement than instant cast to the base spell.
At the end of the day, the points invested for the increase in aoe (even if significantly improved) gimp our single target far too much for it to ever be taken outside of a council-type raid encounter.

I just thought instant cast would be an easy change that might actually see the light of day.
I would 100% love it if it followed a target etc.
