I did just that, I played the PTR and reported a number of bugs, crashes, etc. Well, literally the first non-crash bug I ran into and reported thoroughly? Yeah, its live.
Blizzard, this is why no one wants to do the PTR for actual testing. It’s not a lack of incentive, its a lack of LISTENING! Why are you begging us to come play the PTR when you wont even fix the bugs we report?! This is why people laugh at the PTR, why people say “Hire a QA team”. You have no right to sit here and beg your players to play the PTR, to say it would help make a less buggy experience, if you don’t freaking listen to any bug reports!
This “Please come play the PTR” is up there with “You think you do but you don’t” and “Don’t you guys have phones?”
If you ask players to play your PTR then ignore it anyway, expect to get clowned on and for people to not want to participate in future PTR’s.
Absolutely insane… Like… Imagine asking specifically for players to play the PTR but doing nothing with the reports or feedback…
