The solution is mega servers. Because it is the simplest solution.

You have a hypothesis. In science you produce data to back that hypothesis. In philosophy you produce a logical argument with reasons to back up that hypothesis. All you do is repeat your hypothesis over and over again. And you’re so stupid you don’t even realize what you’re doing. Last time we talked I gave up on you. I don’t know why I gave you another chance to make a rational argument to support your hypothesis, perhaps pity. But you’re just too pathetic so I’m done with you.
This isn’t science. Its the solution. Mega servers is simply the solution. Its like asking someone to prove that two oranges are on the table and two oranges are on the table. No reason for a spreadsheet. No reason to collect data. You simply see two oranges on the table. This is the same thing. The perfect solution being mega servers is sitting on the table. No, there is nothing on the table. You say we have to put two oranges on blizzard’s table and I say we need an apple and an orange. You say two oranges is the solution and I say not everyone likes oranges we need an apple so that every one can eat. You say it’s obvious that it must be two oranges and I say I can’t even eat oranges because citrus interferes with my heart medication, we need an apple and an orange. You say two oranges is perfect and I say if there’s only two oranges I won’t pay for lunch. Other people say the same thing and quit lunch. The population drops even faster. Blizzard loses money and abandons the game even more. And you’re too dumb to see it.
I am sorry you are unable to see the perfectly good oranges on the table, the perfect solution, also known as mega servers. I get that some people need to have the lights turned up a little… or maybe even turned on at all… to see it but its there. The absolute greatest thing this game can do to become one step closer to perfection. The mega server.
Not nearly to Vegas thank you think it did The first really major drop off happen during Mr pandaria and then fell through the floor with warlords but cataclysm only lost till they get players out of 12 it’s a very minor drop, now panderia so I started to notice empty servers but I also really kind of backed out of it too for burnout and nothing’s really recovered since then.
There was alot of things that mad mop bad. Talent tree changes, the repetitive daily quests, Class/spec balance in both PvP and PvE, End game content.
