It would be nice to be able to use Hover and remain in Black Attunement without having to manually swap it back to Black Attunement and I do not want to be using Obsidian Scales just to quickly move it back.
Please just rework the talent so that it doesn’t auto switch them. I legitimately thought it was a bug until I read it and the switching is annoying enough that I’m considering untalenting Aspects’ Favor.

I so wish it just gave a temp buff alongside the current attunement.
I don’t particularly have an issue with it but I think this is the easy fix. They could just tune the (empowered) buffs down slightly if they think the overlap is that strong.
The eruption macro fixes the issue but to be honest, it’s more that they don’t communicate the way it works mechanically at all and there are probably plenty of people instantly wasting the hp by pressing hover after in stead of before.
This would have been the common sense way to design the talent, but we all know common sense is anything but common.
Thank you for the macro!! I don’t know if they’ve done something to the talent since this was posted, but I couldn’t get my Blistering Scales to trigger/change to Black Attunement. I personally don’t mind the spell swapping, I think it’s a neat spell interaction, and like… 4% max health isn’t such a big deal, especially since you’ll be using Blistering Scales pretty often. Also, just in case I get haters, Augmentation is a support spec, stop trying to compare it to other dps.
