No. But they can be mind controlled. Wouldn’t surprise me if we see Forsaken and Void Elves help them out
So were the death knights, (arguably) demon hunters, eredar, dark irons, warlocks, undead, void elves, primalists, etc etc etc.

If they cannot use a flight path, or wear gear, I am certain they will never be playable. Sorry to say it.

Yes because catering to the .00001% of WoW’s player population that actually has arachnophobia is what’s best for business.
I’m gonna keep this trinket forever if they don’t become playable.
that would be awesome to have the Ascended as a playable race, and it even fits in well with the story and with Ansurek dead and Xalatath gone, they might just look to ally with the horde or the alliance like the Pandarens, choose your side kind of set up.
They already showed with Dracthyr they are willing to create races that can’t wear armor. Just give us normal Nerubians please.

yes, that would be perfect, give the option to play either regular or ascended like in the character creation considering that both are seen now it would make sense that either would be an option.
