Both Fire and Frost are bottom tier, Arcane is mid in PvE and a good way to get killed fast in PvP. Go troll somewhere else.

Time to consider main swapping tbh. They’re only going to give little ~10% shifts here and there with nothing fundamentally changing. Just not the xpac for mages, so it goes

Which does not mean their damage is low.
It’s the best caster in both raid and m+. If you think it’s only “mid” then you may want to consider referencing a guide.
Using defensives will go a long way.

Arcane requires RNG to put up top parses.
If you get raid-topping DPS 1/20 pulls but 19/20 do avg, its an avg spec…
Parses arent everything. Mythic prog you want consistency more than anything.

Mage has the highest burst in PvP and can global anyone.
Arcane can do back to back 200k in 1 global for 400k
Frost can do 1mil dmg in 6 secs and Aoe kill everyone.
If anything Mage needs most of these abilities nerfed by 40% in PvP.
What are you talking about? Arcane is very good right now. The problem is some Arcane Mages just suck at playing. Did a +9 pug today and there was another Arcane Mage in my group and he did 16k overall and was terrible on boss fights. He did about 40% of my overall and couldn’t even break 20k on bosses while I was hitting 60k. It’s mages like that who come on here and say Mages suck. Maybe people should hit the training dummy to get the rotation down before wandering into M+ and doing sub tank dps and then crying about it.

You guys need deep freeze back.
It’s hard to punish face-rolling mongo classes with infinite snare breaks if you don’t have anything you can actually use on them when damaging.
We are so so good that hardly anyone want us.

Those insanely high dps abilities, yeah.
Arcane being able to burst people from invisibility is indeed a problem even though it’s not as much damage as 400k but everything you’ve said about Frost is just stupid.
