When is this finally going to happen. I finally decided to level 1 maghar orc just for the heritage armor and it was beyond painfull. Not only did I have 24 hours of exp quest monk buff but full set heirlooms just to make leveling viable. I have every single character at 110 except druid so I’m (&^( if I want to level a Zandalari. There’s so many changes that have to happen just for leveling to be fun again.
Buff Heirlooms exp by 25% EACH. It should be a steamroll for the gold sink and something of huge advantage (exp wise) among any other player in party.
Nerf the heck out of boss hp in dungeons. No boss should last over 30 sec period. It’s ridiculous how many bosses around lvl 40-60 last a minute plus. It’s not fun whatsoever. You learn nothing from that experience and it feels like a giant waste of time.
If you guys plan to leave ‘’ the leveling experience’’ which is garbage from 1-80 mind you, for new players. At least let your veterans level as quickly as possible their allied races via heirlooms.
The game feels entirely different once you reach cataclysm/pandaria. The older places feel so archaic that it hurts. The quicker you get ppl out of lvl 80 the better. Let alone the more allied races you make, the more you burn out your players by forcing them into re-leveling again if you like the heritage set. I can’t see blizz doing major changes to the heritage set just to please activision’s time gating nonsense.
But I can at least see them making the heirlooms matter again. I couldn’t care less about the stats. But the exp should be insane. Monk buff AND heirlooms felt like it was almost enough.
So basically you really don’t want to spend time leveling your new monk, you just want everything handed to you on a silver platter.
I’m not a dev, but my answer to your request is a flat NO. I thought the purpose of the heirlooms was to let your gear scale with you, to keep you from having to change gear as you level up. Now you seem to want something like do a couple of quests, and boom … congrats new level, rinse, repeat.
You want the heritage armor, then like everything else, work for it. Leveling your character doesn’t take much time as it is. With the heirlooms, you already have a nice boost on the xp bonus.
The only heirloom issue I am running into after spending half a million gold is the lvl 110 - 120. Yeesh. They definitely need a bit of a stat boost there or have the azerite traits on them.
I leveled the monk to 110. You definitely didn’t read I’m doing this crap AGAIN for the zandalari druid. It takes a load of time that we don’t need to level WITH HEIRLOOMS ON.

At lvl 1-60? fudge yes. The boss hp and time should increment each expansion to show the difference. Nobody is preparing or theorizing rotations at low lvl…
If you want leveling to be different I think you should make a thread on that just wanting it to be shorter for the sake of it is not good enough so no
Nothing wrong with wanting a less desirable part of the game to be shortened. Not everything has to be like work to obtain. I don’t know about you,but many of us play to relax and unwind. we don’t need a second job.
or you can be like me and realize after the 3rd max character its worth just owning in and paying like they want you too.
even at a job that you make $10 you then say does it take less than say 6-7 hours to hit max. No which means its worth buying if it causes any distress.
I prefer and love leveling characters up through the ranks to both learn the class and become adapt with abilities as I level, but I will not do it more than the few time I have.
Do it again… as many times as you have characters to level up. You are not entitled to use your previous experience leveling to dismiss it on subsequent characters. The 20-120 experience is REQUIRED for all characters that you want to level up for the heritage armor.
Posts like these make me wish we still had dislikes. It doesn’t merit a flag, but I think some of the ideas are not so great and I’d rather not go into detail bc reasons.
This makes me laugh out loud. It’s like you’re saying that since you bought the heirlooms, you are so special. No, that’s not the case. Pay to win is not part of the game. The gear is no more special than the ones that got you to 110, or to 60, or whatever.
I loathe the BFA devs (class, balance, and writing) atm.
I also lvled every class to 100+
I have done it without heirlooms and with.
As have many others.
which costs $$$ (and anyone will tell a new person NOT to do as they wont know how to use the character and will be hated by the ppl they group with)
same to their character boost in store…if thye made lvlign liek you wanted they would NEVER sell them. (and at end of the day Blizzard is a company that is there to make profit)

have you farmed tens of thousands of a single mob for a single drop?
Have you spent 6months straight daily killing a daily summon and never getting the drop you wanted?
There are WAY more boringthings in this game than the leveling path.
