Flameshaper is unviable and Scalecommander only needs slight tweaks to be amazing.
I don’t want to wait until 11.1 for class changes. This is miserable and I’m tired of playing Aug to be invited to groups in M+.

Devastation only has half of a class tree, firestorm is just unplayable. It basically needs its own raid buff to be viable outside of high tuning.
It does have one of the strongest 2-3 target cleave profiles but that’s not really something that exists.
Imo give Dev a caster crit buff and problem solved, blessing of the bronze could also use rework/buff

I have a Devastation Evoker and a Fire Mage. Mage is much worse off.
(I find Deep Breath borderline useless in most situations. I’d gladly give it up for faster Essence refresh.)

I have friends and I’m pushing above +3,100 IO. If we take a look at devastation, it’s struggling to push higher with the top brass because they are so egregiously powerful.
Blizzard has not substantially nerfed them so what’s the deal? Buff the weaker specs up to par so that we can have better diversity at all levels.
devastation needs a rework on half the spec tree.
delete Firestorm, create a red spell that is consistent with the spec and strengthens the AOE.
rework the flameshapper tree, it’s probably one of the worst in the game.

I agree, I miss playing devastation as I am forced to play Aug. doubt they will do anything before season 2. Hoping it gets better then.
