It was with the broken shore during 7.1 closer to 20 months
You still aren’t being punished, and the monthly fee is access to the servers. No different than paying for Netflix but having movies and shows cycle on and off the platform. It’s strictly access to the servers.
You’re being punished because you didn’t play at a certain time.
You’re not being punished. You literally did not do the content when it was current. You pay for current content.
That’s not a punishment, no matter how hard you try to paint yourself falsely as a victim of.
Sorry buddy, I don’t feel punished. I feel like a champ, a victor.
I mean you have obviously seen my crown, am a pretty big deal in this fantasy world.
How you feel is on you, you wanna be victimized, you do you.
It is by definition. Should they remove stuff like Invincible too for people who didn’t get it while it was current?
I’m in the same boat, I am missing Disc Priest, Arcane Mage, All Shaman and Sub Rogue I believe. To be honest though, it won’t bother me if they bring it back.
They gave a LOT of warning that Mage tower would never come back. Stop trying to ruin things. If you seriously are trying to destroy exclusives, the game will be unfun to a majority of the playerbase.
I have every mage tower appearance for all my toons (everything but mage, ironically)
with the exception of the prot pally one, cause I had none of the required leggos for it, and my pally was very undergeared, never played him. (the ret one was a joke with the repent cheese mechanic)
You pay for access to the entire game. You don’t just have access to BfA content.
I never said it was Illegal, stop repeating yourself because you can’t understand.
You said
And you clearly can’t do that! Because Blizzard is enabling entitled gatekeepers like us! And, in what you said, Blizzard is civilly liable for withholding a product you paid for. So sue them, right?
Well, no, since the ToS says they can do what they want and that your exact point is invalid. The lawyers thought of you when they wrote out the EULA, isn’t that nice? I think so.
I put in the effort to get the Green Fire back when it was introduced in 5.2, I have the achievement, the title and the effect, and I wouldnt mind if they gave the achievement and title to people doing it right now. Mage Tower artifacts should come back, I put in the effort for the HPally one early on, but didnt get it, then I had to quick wow due to personal reasons, I want another oportunity.
‘the infliction or imposition of a penalty as retribution for an offense.’
That’s the definition of a punishment. Which is wholly NOT applicable in any sense to the removal of time-limited content, doubly so when you were given extremely advanced notifications on the fact that it was TIME. LIMITED.
Who says it would? Exclusives are not very fun for new players. Shouls they remove the Plagued Proto-drake from the BMAH too?
Not exactly sure what you’re getting at by bringing up a mount in this thread about weapon appearance from the Mage Tower in Legion.
Misdirection? Confusion? Dumb?
Did you also purposefully ignore the part where I said MTs were balanced around a game state that is no longer current, and that legendaries from Legion were being decreed as legacy content?
It’s dead.
It’s over.
You missed it.
Now move on with your life.
Dude, how many times do I have to tell say this, but I literally couldn’t do Legion content at that time. It is a punishment because I arbitrarily can’t get something because I couldn’t play at a certain time.
If you seriously are trying to destroy exclusives, the game will be unfun to a majority of the playerbase
Why? What is fun about exclusive content? It’s so much fun for me to have content that is no longer obtainable… said no one ever. You know what’s fun? Playing the game the way I want to without any artificial time-locks. Having the option to experience content I’ve missed, but apparently can’t because it’s “exclusive”. It’s just such a silly concept to think exclusivity = fun.
That’s on you then. Sorry you couldn’t play at the time, but Blizz shouldn’t bring back content just because you couldn’t access it for personal reasons.
