So short and sweet, if at all possible could Aegis of Light be brought back for Dragonflight? It has to be probably my favorite ability for Paladins that was so perfect for their class fantasy. Running in front of some large dangerous foe that is about to yeet a group of people, throwing up a shield, and protecting them from the blow. When out in the world, whenever I saw someone about to get killed cause they overpulled, I’d Divine Steed myself over and pop it. Sure, Blessing of Protection would be more efficient and easier, but there’s something about running head first into the fray and being a wall. It’s what made me really enjoy Paladin and it hasn’t felt the same since.
I know it wasn’t the most viable when we had the talent row system, but with the versatility of the talent trees, there’s gotta be a way to fit it in in an interesting way. It might need some tweaking, but I still feel like it’s worth it for how well it plays into the fantasy.
