Wrath gems used to be +20 and became +2/+2
Might as well just delete jewelcrafting at that point, even at max we’re not allowed more than 6 sockets. Its not even an rpg element anymore

OP is correct low level pvp is broken, 20-29 bracket atm is a who pulls the trigger first S**t show.
if a hunter rolls up on me and trys to aim shot me then he will be dead before he gets the cast off atm.

Low level gems are easier to afford than they’ve ever been because of the cross-realm AH; for me they aren’t even really worth selling anymore

Yeah the point isnt that I dont want to buy gems, its that the pvp is completely ruined because of them.
You literally one shot people with low cd uninterruptable abilities like rising sun kick. Not figuratively, or hyperbole. Literally 100% to dead with a couple presses of a button.
I mean you do see the mage there doing 3.5k cone of colds and killing 4 people instantly in the youtube videos right?

Game breaking gear is game breaking if one person has it or everyone has it.

Its impossible for players to get this gear your right, it takes way to much effort to ask someone to craft it or heaven help us do it yourself lol. Jokes aside they should nerf gems at lower levels from 2/2/ to 1/1 and 3 primary stat gems down to 2.
Whats my feeling on a boa enchant of 3-4 primary stat on like 3 pieces of gear vs up to 35ish gem slots you can stack +3 primaries in?

warlocks and hunters 1 shot ppl the rest of the classes/specs are not, if anything you should be asking for a hunter and warlock nerf. maybe arcane mage as well. with 20s put into xpoff how often are you actually running into ppl that turn off there xp to farm out bis for a bracket? I bet outside of xpoff exploiters its pretty low.

You can basically gear like this straight off the AH with crafted gear, which you even noted.

Its not just mages. WW monks, Ele shamans, etc. All can one shot you with dreadful/legion/bfa ah gear and gemming which is all cheap and everyone is doing it.
It would be one thing if you had to turn off xp and farm this gear for hours per bracket. All you have to do is visit the AH and you can buy gemmable gear for every slot and its cheap. Or make it yourself if you have an MOP character.
There is literally no defense of the state of low level pvp w/ so much gemming. Go away.
