Several obvious Solo Shuffle issues illustrated in a single picture.

I was top damage, tied for most kills (including a double kill btw), 2nd most wins and ZERO RATING for that performance? Meanwhile the healer who didn’t have the most healing, only had 1 more win than me, and same rating got 39pts? Really? And we know that if I hadn’t gotten those numbers, I would have lost more than 2 dozen rating, which is ridiculous.

Once again, a near-zero rating, essentially non-geared poor schmuck is tossed in with a bunch of challenger level players rockin 30% of more HP alone than him, to say nothing of the damage difference… Which also has the effect (not just of making them the always first target) but also drags down the average rating of the people he is pitted with.
And more.
Please Please you need to do something about this, because we are seeing an issue that will absolutely perversely affect rated SS in Dragonflight. If the idea is that we don’t need teammates to queue, we also shouldn’t be beholden to anchors that we didn’t choose to have brought in. At the very least make the rating change based solely on the individual performance.
I’m not saying I should have gotten 100 or 50 rating out of this, but man… It should have been SOMETHING? Where is the onus for me to try and do my best if it isn’t going to translate into the rewards I am working for (rating, for example)?
Both sides are SUFFERING for it, the well geared and the newly arrived alike.

Yeah duno, that’s kind of weird. At around 1500 you should have got like 100 or so rating winning 4/6 matches against people near your MMR, maybe more.

First of all incredible performance. Top damage on the DH that’s really something and you deserve a hefty reward I agree.
However I do see 2 losses, and then I see a 300 cr War with 2 wins. I’m thinking if that war beat you for those 2 wins that could easily erase any cr gains you had accrued.

It is so awesome having 3 leavers in a row and then win 4/6 rounds only to get nothing.

Everything about solo shuffle - other than the idea itself - is garbage. I went straight to 1715, then stopped getting any ranking for wins, but losses have me under 1500 again.
If ranking is based on damage done, that is just poor implementation. FOTM classes that scale insanely in prepatch dominate that aspect of solo shuffle.

Yup dealing with the same thing. I may not be topping damage constantly, but having 4-5 wins over someone who pretty much did crap, to see them gain 100+ CR and you get nothing. Its exactly what I’ve been dealing with.
Like Cog above, I shot up to 1675 my first go, since then, I’ve yet to crest that number because of the current system. In fact, I’ve been declining in rating slowly over time and its just so stupid.

Few examples from the last few queues…
- Get same healer (with 32k health) 5 out of 6 rounds. Shouldn’t I be grouped with each healer 3 times?
- Tied for Third with 2 rounds = 0 Conquest and -57 Rating.
- Fourth place with 2 rounds = 0 Conquest and -78 Rating.
- Won 6 rounds at 1444 rating = 150 Conquest and Rating Unchanged.
- Won 5 rounds at 1444 rating = 3 Conquest and Rating Unchanged.
- Won 4 rounds, tied with another = 15 Conquest and Rating Unchanged.
They need to release a statement how it works because going 5-1 and losing 70 rating in a 2k mmr game is insane

Tank MMR works like dog years so that would make sense
The two losses were when the 300 CR (was under 200 when match started) warrior was on my team. I tried defending to keep him up while still attacking, but he just had so little HP (less than 70k) there just wasn’t a way to both save him AND win (other than one match, which was the first match and only because the opposing warrior accidentally LoS’s himself for 5sec with heroic leap while the healer was CC’d… and was able to basically CD him down before healer could get around the corner). I give the low CR guy props for trying to stay in the fight, but it is most certainly not fair to them as it is unfair to the rest of participants, to have that kind of dice roll.
At least your matches are concluding. I keep getting body type 1 Human or Elf tank players that’ll get 0-5’d then pull the plug on the final match.

we do get leavers as well. I am averaging 6 matches a night right now, and I would say 4 out of 6 have conclusion, and 2 out of 6 have a leaver at some point (usually after match 3 or match 5).
oh no you posted as a dh :(. i hope youre a dh main.

I am a DH main. Though, more specifically, this is not my MAIN Dh… this DH number 2.

my bad. the MMR system here is working as it should from what i can tell. but the match making system itself is pretty weird.
And another example…
The Blood DK had a single win more than me (his other 4 were with me and him together), he was over 100 rating higher than me at the start and gets 33 rating, yet I get ZERO rating. Blizz REALLY needs to be clear on how the calculations are done, cause I assume it is some trained otter just wildly pushing buttons when lights come on randomly.
Either the conditions and math they are using to award rating/conquest are insanely complicated and asinine or the entire thing is just broken right now. I’m going with option 2.
I am NOT a great pvper, I just started playing again for prepatch so my rating is like 1500 right now. There are times when I 100% do not perform well in my matches but I’m gaining 100+ rating and conquest while the other Healer or DPS that rocked it all 6 games literally gained nothing or even LOST rating?
Give me a break.
Sometimes if you lose a ton it’ll throw you into a lower game where you’ll barely get points but it’ll be an opportunity to “fix” your mmr. This is partially why there’ll from time to time be some 1900 in a 1500 game that goes 5-1 and gets 8 points or whatever.
I’ve been on both sides of this and it isn’t fun for anyone. The higher rated player knows they are wasting their time because they could perform at perfection levels and still get nothing or even worse actually lose rating simply because they were too good.
You can’t punish or remove the fun factor for people who are good at the game simply because the vast majority(people like me) are only mediocre.

Blizzard in here finally giving DH’s the ratings they deserve
I don’t think someone would lose rating for a perfect 6-0.
