I was just healing a dungeon. We made it thru to the end and someone called out the tank for being crap…right at the end.
Please be mindful that some people might be lerning how to tank, heal etc.
Now I was healing the dungeon so we were in good hands since I’m awesome at healing. But some others might not be as lucky. So remember when you’re playing, be nice and treat others how you’d like to be treated.
Didn’t Overwatch did something to encourage camaraderie of a group? Seemed to have worked really well the last I checked. Maybe WoW could use something like that.
Edit: Endorsements… maybe those didn’t like his tanking won’t give Endorsements, but if they are mean and rude about it, then maybe YOU don’t Endorse them
If they are ongoing and keep insulting someone you can report them, specifically open a ticket for ongoing harassment so a living GM sees it.
The report function is useless because action is only take if that person is reported by many people, a few wont do it.

Sadly, endorsements now mean much less in OW. It’s become nothing other than some free loot boxes occasionally, primarily because it encourages not playing with your friends and people aren’t willing to do that.
Hilariously enough, most people endorse people on the other team now as a form of taunting them. Like endorsing them for good sportsmanship after obvious toxic behavior happens.

This is how the system works, you remember what happened at the start when the system was introduced and blizzard lied about how “DW a person will totes check the report before getting banned”, and then some streamer asked all his fans to report him and he got insta silenced.
The system is completely automated, and GMs only see it after someone has been mass reported and suffered the punishment.
2 people reporting a person for insulting someone doesnt do anything, you need way more people to mass report them for anyhting to actually happen.
That is why it is good to directly contact a GM if you want someone to actually suffer consequences for their ongoing harassment, as long as the chat logs show that, a report or two wont do it.

regardless, it has nothing to do with your original comment of
a squelch will only happen if someone is mass reported…
that doesn’t mean that the singular reports are ignored, it just means they’re not as high on the priority list.
Squelch isnt much different, it is an automated silence but if you want to play with definitions then yeah, squelch is automated even though it shouldnt because ti is abused just like the report afk function.
And No, it means those reports are never gonna be seen, or they are that low in the priority list they are never seen because of “too many reports” and we fired most of our gms because our Ceo needed a bigger bonus.
Have you falsely reported someone? Nothing happens even though it should, hell you can report someone for legit reasons and still see them continue doing the same thing a few hours or day later, SINGLE REPORTS ARE MEANINGLESS.
My point is one.
If you want someone to suffer consequences for their actions, either mass report them or open a ticket with enough proof to get them punished, a single report wont do anything.
For some guys this content is the only escape they have from a life of basement dwelling and Cheetos dust.

Garbage dps are a dime a dozen, they are everywhere but behavior like this is why there are not many tanks. Too many garbage people to deal with, mostly dps but sometimes healers too.
