Never stated that it did mean something to you. Within your wild, irrational imagination you’ve jumped to conclusions. Which isn’t surprising from someone who didn’t put much thought in this crusade that you’re trying to push.
Let me guess, you were reported as away from keyboard and told to type /afk to avoid being kicked too
You’re feeble attempt to lessen my point won’t work. Yes, you do think that telling me I’m in the minority would somehow make it less valid than your points. It won’t work on me. My point is valid to me and all the folks who don’t like being inconvenienced…try again.
Yeah because you don’t really have one worth noting.
Sometimes as a mage, When I am doing my pre-AV pushups sometimes my chihuahua jumps onto my keyboard (because there is always left over cheetoes on it) and pushes the portal and food button. Feel lucky the table was dropped at all.
It’s a humourous statement for sure, it’s goal however is not to anger you but to make you laugh.
HAHA.
AKA : not trolling.
Sounds like this would cause harm :
…And that’s fine by the way. You can do your pranks and all that to make people laugh, heck you can do it in the open world with many people as you want, and you would get a good response.
I just think if your doing it in an competitive environment, your not going to get much laughter there cause people are focused on winning that competition, and the majority, rather you not do that, or do it somewhere else. Like i said, time and place. I don’t normally speak for other people, i’m just assuming most normal people who entered in a pvp battleground, has no intention of being inconvinced.
People in this very thread have said they fell for it, and laughed at themselves.
Also : Korrak’s revenge isn’t really competitive, it’s a silly anniversary event.
Well, those people aren’t the usual expected pvp players. Some will shrug off and deal with being teleported into another location and see it as a minor inconvenience, (aslong they don’t get kicked for trying to load back in) some just don’t. And considering the Alliance struggles enough already, i mean, i rather focus on winning or at least getting enough kills and then screw about fun atfer, or be pranked after. Plenty of time for that.
What do you mean it isn’t competitive? i mean, doesn’t it have objectives to complete before the other team does, like killing the boss? is that no longer competitive?
Even as relaxed the BG can be, it’s still has that level of the tension and competition cause of that ever present objective with the ever present rewards. And considering people these days are quick to notice people outside of the Map and kick them, even adds more to that.
If Korrak’s revenge is just… go into a map and just kill any player you see without any objectives, or any win/fail states then honestly, that would be fine.
i don’t think i’ve called anyone a baby.
…but i do think you need to take a good look in the mirror.
wow. All this time I just assumed it was something i missed from pre cata or pre wrath or something like that.
Win or lose, you get good experience. The stakes are low. It’s just a silly game, there is no ranking or big currency tied to it.
You still get more stuff if you win, that’s stakes none the less, even a minicule amount that a good chunk of people ( i assume) want to go after.
If one think’s it’s a silly game or it doesn’t matter, why even partake in it at all?
Oh no, just a mount after doing it a few times.
I suppose to you, that’s nothing. Fair enough, but maybe consider it’s probably reason why people are playing this mode, even if it’s cosmetic?
And i suppose even though you can lose a bunch of times and they will still get the mount is nothing to you as well, but you are slowing down their progress even further by… pulling pranks and getting them kicked.
Let’s put it this way : it’s about as competitive as a game of backyard horseshoes with your grandpa.
It’s still competitive. Even if your opponent is pretty darn bad and it’s dang too easy. The element of competition is still there.
How hard is it to not click the portal? FFS
see’s a portal placed on top of the horde flag
…Not hard at all.
Horde wins
shrug, I usually just had fun with my grandpa and we barely kept score.
Scarlet Halls. Loot a book from the wall at last boss then go to old dalaran and turn in quest.
I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what they’re doing - having fun with other players. lol
