A victim less crime effects noone. Being involved in gdkps and causing inflation and making it harder for others to afford consumables is hardly victim less. You just choose to see it that way because you want your gold cuts and couldn’t care less about anyone else playing the game tbh.
No, that’s not the definition. Use of illicit drugs is a victimless crime because it only involves a consenting adult. However, the indirect effects of the trade and use of illicit drugs drives governments to create corresponding laws and policies.
So, from the perspective of random Joe who plays WoW… the effects of incursions have been just as destructive as RMT, and should be banned?

gdkps arent returning. Move to retail since you need RMT to play wow with your card in hand. the AH isnt being banned. Blizzard security team will continue to find and place appropriate action on cheaters. I am sure you will discover that.
the GDKP ban has curtailled both botting and RMT as part of a larger strategy including 30d restrictions on account trading. you and the other clowns that come in here and act bc they know someone that gotten away with it or saw a bot think its not, have no clue what you are talking about because you have 0 data and look at everything from a seething and coping GDKPer point of view.

Well, that’s your business. I think Blizzard’s reasons for banning GDKPs (again, citing “erosion of social and guild structures”) was bizzare and worth discussing. I think GDKPs were a natural evolution of social interactions (guilds were only “necessary” in 2007 because content could not be reliably PuG’d) and trying to put that genie in the bottle is futile. Considering the decision to ban GDKPs has seemingly done nothing to improve social interactions, I feel vindicated in that regard.
But it seems you - like many others - still don’t pay any mind to whether that rationale was justified. You merely dislike GDKPs and are glad to see them gone, irrespective of whether the decision is defensible.
