Please allow normal flying in War Within on Day 1

They won’t make it day 1 :stuck_out_tongue:
[Morgan Day and Ion have said that it’ll unlock shortly after or something like that]

But for what it is worth, they don’t plan on making people wait too long after.

I’ll be too high in the air, dragonriding my way to victory to be able to see you, anyway.

Bots existed without slower flying. They just used hacks to fly and tp around and somehow figured out dr.

I don’t know how this myth continues when fly hacks have been a thing since Vanilla, and came back for Classic.

Same same

Both forms of flying should unlock from day 1 obviously, and let the player/end-user decide what they like

you don’t see customers using normal flying because you’re too busy trying not to crash into a tree.

I don’t see many because they are afk hovering waiting for me to kill something. When I get it to 10% or so, they land, tag, loot and scoot.

I don’t see what mount they are on until after they are done looting.

passive aggressive much ?

Not at all mate. But why pretend that we needed static flying back for anything else?

keep picking that scab…

Mate, no reason to be offended. It’s okay. Static flying is back. We don’t have to pretend anymore.

Another week, another one of these topics.

Never had that problem. Should try getting better at it.

Yeah but DF wasn’t day 1. That’s what I am hoping for/wanting. Supposedly according to several people in this thread they are in fact going to offer that, which makes me really happy.

I plan to not use DR in TWW until static flying unlocks for me. I want to see how much of an obstacle it is, and I also want to stand in solidarity with others who experience issues w/ DR.

it’ll probably be 20 mins from the start of tww like df was. takes no time to get flying here lol

Honestly I could care less whether they give you regular flying or not, because I won’t be using it. I hope you get what you want, but old-school flying died for me the first time I used dragon riding.

day 1 of s3 maybe :stuck_out_tongue:

I use both, hoping both will be available at launch but it is what it is.

How long does it typically take you to complete the story achievements? I know everyone plays at a different pace, but Dragonflight took me less than a day. I can’t imagine TWW will be any slower for someone who’s primary goal is unlocking TBC Flying.

dragonriding on day 1 without glyphs was a pain in the bottem…
