I completely agree, I don’t enjoy being forced to go a race just cause they get a spell that no other priest race gets. Like a spriest basically needs to be undead or else they miss out on a huge dot, and alliance when it comes to later content dwarfs will be undeniably the best with fear wars, in era I wasn’t even accepted into some bwls simply cause I was human (yes I parced well still human priests are still very good) but you get the point

while we are asking for things… can i shadowmeld into berserking and withstand all stuns in the form of an orc and if i get a bleed dot on me let me stoneform and allow proc fear ward… and if i beat you, let me eat you to get my health and mana back
Priests don’t need more buffs.
Considering how problematic racial imbalance has been throughout the entire history of wow, contributing to the historical faction population issues, I wouldn’t mind if they just made racial abilities, something anyone can select like talents. And only keep some potentially “vanity/rp” aspects.
But it’s whatever if they don’t change…its been like this since forever, and i think its still this way even in retail? Some might say the terrible racial balance across the board is an iconic part of WoWs identity.
However, if they start picking and choosing to direclty OR indirectly “nerf” certain classes racials, like for example, making the Human SWORD skill racial irrelevant because some “ideal” item will give a similar bonus to another race without an actual penalty, then they need to address EVERY SINGLE ONE of the racial imbalances.
