Please add Weak Auras to the default UI.
This is the only major must have addon that is missing from the default UI.

by default, I refuse to get weak auras because I will obsessively tinker with everything and never actually play the game.

there’s 0 way they add the depth of functionality we have iwth the addon to the base ui.
we would lose 90% of what WA can do.

Please don’t. The default UI is enough, I would prefer not to have additional complexity and configuration to manage.

Every time Blizz adds an addon into the base game, it’s severely gimped and we still end up using the addon.

idk about the entirety if weak auras functionality since you can basically script an entire game through it.
But it would be nice to be able to have more granular control over where and what buffs / procs are displayed since they can kind of get lost in rows of less important information.
I could see some of the simpler use cases of WA making it into the UI editor.
Being able to manage buffs and debuffs with the basic ui would probably be a good start but weakauras have become much more than just that.

Mm… True. 
Well… They haven’t really done a bang up job emulating BT4 and all of it’s options for it’s “Edit mode”.
Now i wonder if somebody made DOOM playable on there.

I don’t know but that’s what they’ve done every other time they’ve incorporated addon functionality into the base ui.
we are better off with the functionality being in the hands of the fans.

Unpopular opinion. These addons got popular, because Blizzard made it hard to track your own optimal way to play this game. Blizzard makes the game even harder, to compete with addons, which becomes an endless loop. Now, it’s harder for new people to pick up and truly understand a class.
Classic was an example of how simple the game used to be. Mechanics today are so overly complex, there’s no way a guild can figure them out, without looking at tips.
They kind of already do, as WA is mostly a wrapper for the addon UI to make it easier for you to use.
And the addon API is part of the default UI.
The biggest draw WoW has to people is how hugely you can customize your own experience.
Take that away, and WoW will fall.
