I’m a hunter with Engineering profession, and made a " Clanking Cuffs"(plate wrist) by mistake. I asked GM many times if they can recover it for me, but they refused. The issue is, I can’t wear plate so I even can’t upgrade my wrist to 636, and I lost 90 Gilded Harbinger forever in this patch.
I know the mistake was made by myself, but I think the recovery is reasonable, since I didn’t get any benefit from the recovery (I only ask to get the Gilded Harbinger back, not all mats), and this will not affect others apparently. I think there should be a way to recraft or give GM permission to revert the mistake crafting. Also, there is no warning or popout window to remind me I’m making a wrong armor type item or “this action cannot be reverted”.
I’m feeling very disappointed for this game and I will unsubscribe then playing other games.
I mean yea, that is unfortunate, but you did make the mistake. Still, I’m surprised the gm wouldn’t restore your gilded crests (or even mats) considering you didn’t benefit from the item at all (unless you received a KP or skill-up, I could see them reverting that).
Regardless, gl on your future endeavors and try to pay more attention when crafting items, especially ones that cost 90 gilded crests.
Yes I got the KP but obviously this is not my purpose. Also, crafting with Spark of Omens is enough to get the KP, so technically getting the gilded crests back will not have any effect.
I heard from other friends that mis-craft in the last patch, and gm recovered all the mats for him. But now gm told me they have no permission: “the tools we have that does not support this action”.
