I know the technology is there because the Crimson Lunar Firecracker 1H mace transmogs are basically nunchucks with firecrackers instead of a stick. They’ll go perfectly with the turtle shell back pieces coming. We also need red, blue, orange, and purple bandanas with eye holes.

They were going to add the Bo Staff. But they thought Brewmasters might like the look so they got rid of it.

You mean like the Long Bo Staff or the Rattan Bo Staff? There’s others that look like bo staffs, too.
I’m glad they’re finally adding nunchaku, though. To be honest, I always thought they should have been the Windwalker artifact weapon…
A shame the nunchucks will probably just be swung like a regular flail, but the very clear TMNT ref weapons are still appreciated. Their name gives it away if their style doesn’t. I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if that turtle quad in Undermine got an upgrade down the line.
Technically there are already appropriate plain staff weapons, so it’s more permissible – Some even have Bo Staff in the name. The other weapons are not as easy to find, or simply don’t exist in this game.

I mean the looks from the weapons coming in 11.5 from the link above. Nothing more. Nothing less. Was meant to be a joke anyway so I guess it failed.

Given nunchucks are essentially a flail, and we do have a few of them, there’s no reason not to!

Playable monkeys with nunchucks.
My polearm-favoring Blood Knight is going to love that phoenix spear.
And Flails (except the prot paladin legion artifact skin which is a sword) are always maces in the game.
