I really liked the 2h mace from the end of BfA (EP I think). It’s one of my favorite 2h maces in the game. I like the DA 2h sword, too. I will say there hasn’t been any memorable weapons (or armor for that matter) since Legion.
Class sets really made people stand out. It didn’t matter which set it was, people knew what you were, and how you got it. I really hope they go back to class sets in 10.0, even of it’s just some cosmetic stuff for a quest line (also bringing back class quests). Even if everyone has it, at least it’s just your own class stealing your thunder, lol.
As someone who doesnt have any of the mage tower stuff from Legion era Mage Tower and wants all of it.
No. Totally takes away from those who did it during that time frame and I just dont think thats right.
When you start going down that path people extend it to other stuff like seasonal pvp stuff etc.
Much as I want all of that in my collection I dont think thats the right approach.
But I understand what you are saying.

Someone else having access to difficult content for the same prizes that you attained does not lessen your accomplishment. If you only like something because others can’t get it, then you don’t like it. You just want to feel superior to others.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The reason why the Artifact weapons are a special case is because we rarely if ever get spec specific weapons. We are unlikely to ever get them again given how lazy Blizzard has gotten with even the armor tier sets and class fantasy.

I just found out about it during Shadowlands…. I’m annoyed about it myself lol.
Not exactly an issue that is Blizzards fault. Nor should everyone that did play and did the challenges have the value of their appearances taken away because people that didn’t bother to do it.
Actually main a Tankadin, and if you want to talk about skill…im still here with the appearances while you aren’t, and you are here crying that it was easy back then

This has been in game since bare minimum TBC. There aren’t people complaining over other stuff removed. They are just mad the cool stuff got taken away and they didn’t put the effort in themselves

I mean hasn’t this issue been beaten to death all ready? as much I would love this to happen as well due to classes I missed out on I mean…its a dead issue it won’t happen.

Nope, it won’t. The devs stated in a blue post when they were talking about the recolored armor that they meant it when they said it was limited time only.

There are lots of good looking weapon mogs from BfA and SL. You should be happy with those.
Or you can use the balance of power skin.

The BfA and SL weapons are super bland, generic, awful looking textures. As I’ve already said, the artifacts are the last spec specific looking weapons we’re likely to ever get. Not letting us continue to get them is insane. Keeping them from new players is insane.

no, because only subs can comment and everyone left. 
But you can get them. There are a total of 6 appearances for each spec and you can still get 5 of them. Complaining that you can’t get 1/6 appearances while ignoring the the other 5 is pretty silly.

No. Four appearances are locked behind Mage Tower completion, not one. That’s a misconception that many people state for some reason, so let’s clear it up.

Gatekeeping in this game needs to stop.
I have my MT paladin weapon appearances and still support them being open/accessible to everyone.
After all, I have the timestamped achievement. What do I care if you have the same thing as me?

Oh okay sure. Out of the 24 appearances per spec you can still obtain 20 of them.
Complaining about missing out on 4 appearances when there is still 20 that you can obtain is silly. My point still stands. Not sure what you’re trying to argue here.
