Gonna be blunt, by our other interactions, should probs know I don’t like ya one bit. I’m also not gonna call someone wrong on something just cause I don’t like em, or think they present themselves poorly.
You are right that “form your own raid” is a bad response (at least on this part, can’t say I agree with much else). Like you said, some ppl can’t lead, but also you can get gatekeeped forming your own raid. Lets say you are I dunno a frost mage trying to form your own raid. A lot of ppl are gonna flat out ignore you. So just getting a grp together isn’t as easy as that.
I would hate to see lfr added, but maybe a tool to help ppl sign up, just not as full on, might be a good thing. Damn can’t remember the name of it, that tool in retail where you can post a grp. Something akin to that, maybe not the exact same as ppl love gatekeeping with gs etc there. Still gonna have issues, but might help.
Also guilds can gatekeep, just sayin.
The gatekeeping in phase 2 is pretty insane imo. I understand why the OP is having issues, they are not alone.

Im going to put this as simple as possible.
LFR makes it so you dont need a guild.
LFR then needs raids to be nerfed so people can do content without groups working together.
LFR devalues the social community
LFR is just Solo playing an MMO
LFR is objectively at its core, a bad thing.
If you are not able to even remotely socialize and get into a guild to do GROUP ACTIVITIES then an MMO is not for anyone that cant do those things.
A game for all is a game for none. If you cant do what you need to do, you cant do it. Its simple. Dont ruin it for everyone else because you cant do the most basic of things which is join a guild, make a social contract to work together to down a boss. Its been like this for 20 years in MMOs, why would you demand it cater to your needs of doing the exact opposite of an MMO?
