Its a simple request. Dont need to port to the dungeon or anything, not looking for reduced difficulty.
Just looking for control of the raid to not be in the hands of other players

Form your own raid teams. The only person gatekeeping you is yourself. You’re more than capable of doing so and bringing whoever you want.

You have multiple other types that have LFR. Do it the original way or dont at all.
People play classic to have that actual unity of raiding and community. LFR just gutted the purpose of a guild.
LFR is probably one of the single worst additions for an MMO.

Sorry; what gatekeeping isn’t made almost entirely irrelevent by joining a group or guild? If your group finding is limited to in-game text channels, you’re not using tools already provided.
Not everyone is the same. Some folks struggle at this sort of thing. It is a good thing because you can’t have too many chefs in the kitchen.
For example I am a great soldier, but I am not a great general.
Telling people to “form your own raid” is a bit obtuse isn’t it.
While I don’t think we need LFR or RDF, I think we need to discuss it without people going full on sociopath.
Empathy is one of the things that sets us apart from the animals.
I enjoy discussing hypotheticals and not everyone is the same. While I don’t expect you to be like me, don’t expect others to be like you.
Just like generals, if everyone was a ponderer like me, life would be annoying…
But if there wasn’t folks who challenge folks who say “don’t do that”, we would all be living in caves and playing with our feces.
Appreciate our differences and how nature has made us.

Have you ever went into LFG and said “look at all these raids looking for people…why don’t they join together instead of competing for raiders”
I think Nash was a joke, and that his theory on equilibrium was a paraphrase from other economists, but his points were spot on.
