Please add in-game marriage

I am really surprised this is not an option in-game. Adding an in-game marriage system would be fantastic. Community held events in restricted areas (Only to people invited) would be so much. I would want to see straight and LGBTQ+ as options of course. I think a ring with a crest would be really cool, something we can design and it show visually on our finger.

Multiple options to where it can happen or completely open across the map. have the whole zone instanced to yourself. I met my wonderful husband in this game, and I would love to have a ceremony in-game to celebrate that.

Just my thoughts for the day! :revolving_hearts: :mending_heart: :cupid: Love wins!

I’ve been to multiple WoW weddings so it’s something that exists and is fun, but please Blizzard for the love of god do not make it a game mechanic.

I’m on board with WoW adding e-marriage into the game, but only because I have faith that e-divorces and e-affairs will result in dramatic posts that will make for fun reads.

Marriage should remain a RP thing that players can do if they want. Don’t make it an in-game mechanic.

I’d be fine of you could group with another person and open a dialogue with an NPC priest or similar and click ā€œCan you marry usā€" after which it does a short dialogue with you where you click the right answers, and then you get a 24hr ā€œJust marriedā€ buff that doesn’t affect combat or anything. Strictly RP stuff.

Nothing that affects game play, rewards, bonuses, or anything else that will result in support tickets or other drama.

They have this in Second Life. You can ā€œpartnerā€ with someone and it shows up on your profile.

Nothing wrong with adding more RP stuff but I would sooner like some actual customizable housing

How is it a troll? ESO and FF14 have it and I am sure other games do too. What is troll about RP in an RPG?

Remember the definition of Troll:

Troll: n Someone who writes something in an internet forum that you don’t want to see.

I like that they added the clothes, rings, and basically anything you would need to DIY and I’m good with it being that way.

That’s the main giveaway. The fact he felt the need to separate it into two options. How can you look at this sentence and think he’s actually being genuine about it. Plus the fact he’s posting on a lvl 10 alt with 0 posts.

Please, no. No incentives to create issues from rl, ig.

This is why I loved the Bill Clinton era and ā€˜don’t ask, don’t tell.’ This was perfect, people could do what they wanted, but they had no right to shove it in our faces. Nowadays, it’s not enough for us to leave you alone and respect your rights.

Now you have to tell, and tell often, and tell loudly, and make sure we not only respect your rights, but you demand that we alter our value systems to accommodate you, too.
