Been loving the PTR for remix, but can we please add in Evoker? I thought it would be a lot of work because of artifact talents, but artifact talents aren’t even spec/class specific so those it’s not an issue. We already have a legendary weapon from DF so they wouldn’t need a brand new weapon with lore. Class halls are a problem, but you had so much time and opportunity to give Evoker a place like Dracthyr spawn area or The Forbidden Reach. At this point I don’t even care if you just make all our npc’s share with another class. Restricting a whole class for a “fun” patch just seems lazy, especially when all the Evoker players I’ve seen say they don’t even care if we get a class hall or just a bunch of random npcs in middle of nowhere giving exact same quests.
Before anyone says “they weren’t in original Legion”, true but it also (along with DH) wasn’t in MoP but we could still play them in MoP Remix.

Honestly, there are a lot of NPCs at the main remix hub that serve a no, or at minimum, 1 purpose, then you have no reason to speak to them again. They could easily make it so those are the “class hall” characters, and your hub would be the main remix hub.
As per a weapon, they could always give them something simple like an unarmed look. Just give them a fiery arm that changes colors with the different skins. It wouldn’t require a whole new model just to make a weapon design. I’m sure people would love a bodily enchantment for a weapon, and they could essentially just send you to kill demons or something in that spec to “empower” yourself to control the “weapon.”
They could even explain the story through the bronze dragons as in “we’ve altered this timeline slightly to make the denizens familiar with the Drakthyr and Evokers, so don’t worry about shattering the timeline.”
It doesn’t seem like there would be much challenge in making it happen, but in the wake of all the changes and stuff they’ve had to do up to this point, I couldn’t imagine they’d want to go through even more stuff like that when the expected release is October 7th.

We already got a legendary weapon called “Nasz’uro, the Unbound Legacy” that is just rotting in my bank. So it’s not like they even need a new weapon with lore or anything.
The funny thing is, there already is Dracthyr in remix, so why can Dracthyr be in remix but not Evoker? Just seems lazy…
Not adding Evoker honestly just seems like 1 person high up at Blizzard just said “hey we can just not add a whole class to tune by not adding Evoker” and didn’t think anything past that.

Oh, it’s definitely someone saying “Make this remix as popular as the last one, but don’t customize it too much.” Thus, they just scaled armor to max level, used direct percentages instead of calculating numbers that need adjustments and monitoring, then timegated things like they need to bar people to keep them interested or needed more time to figure things out.
Either way, they really made this remix like it was barely in the budget, despite having over a year to make it spectacular. I defended it up to this last patch, but now, I don’t have an argument left on their behalf.

It’s a weird decision for sure, but knowing Blizzard they won’t add them because they’ve already stated that they won’t be adding it. Blizzard, if nothing else, is stubborn.

I won’t lie. It’s pretty disappointing that they seemingly didn’t even attempt to fit evokers into this remix. I wasn’t planning on rolling another but obviously a lot of people enjoy them and to just not even implement the class at all just feels like they took the easy way out.
They could’ve given them a unique Infinite “class hall” campaign, they could’ve had a big warning when you roll an evoker that this class doesn’t have a campaign so if you’re going for campaign related achieves you can’t do that with this class, they could’ve had evokers visage as another class and choose whatever campaign they want. But they decided to do none of those. I think most people would’ve been okay with a placeholder artifact for evokers or just reusing nasz’uro(maybe even a recolor of it)
I hope whatever the next remix is they try to fit all playable classes in it like they did with MoP

Remix has been turned into just another leveling event meant to retain players for as long as possible with minimum investment. We won’t ever have one like the 1st MoP Remix again.
Why would they not want you to level an Evoker if it’s just for leveling is the real question.

The original Legion was designed around having class/spec specific content.
This includes haven a class order hall, a quest campaign and special weapons and perks for each class. To make this work for evokers Blizzard would have to backfill these features for each new class and spec they add after the release of legion.
This would not only improve Remix, it would be helpful when levelling evokers in Legion Chromie time on retail as well.
Obviously the Blizzard devs are too lazy to implement this and backfill new classes and specs in existing class specific content.
Most likely the same will happen to demon hunters playing void DH when they level in Legion after the new spec got unlocked in Midnight. I wonder if Blizzard will update old loot tables properly when void DHs need int based weapons and trinkets from older content.

Can make our starting hall random NPC’s, starting area for Dracthyr, or use someone else’s order hall through “magic”. For weapons we already have a legendary from Dragonflight, the “perks” are all the same on Remix so we don’t really need anything crazy.
They already do this, so should be fine.
