There are so few Orc, Human, Night Elf, and Undead armor in the game, that not being able to collect the Tier 1 and Tier 2 PvP skins for them is a sin.
Transmog is a huge part of many people’s games, and I’d love to be able to collect this gear, the same way that I did during Legion.
It’s a joke since PvP Vendors were removed because apparently “players can’t find them”, even though PvP Vendors have a unique faction symbol on the map.
In all seriousness, many people agree that the Warfront sets are just about the only good looking armor sets in BFA and you can’t collect these unique PvP Recolors of them anymore.
It’s unfortunate, I’d love to see my Zandalari Paladin rocking it, but oh well.
I did so much random BGs during season one, and after 30+ wristguards, the season ended and i could not complete my Tier 1 PvP set because the shoulders NEVER dropped.
This is not what I consider fun gameplay, or rewarding gameplay. It is the opposite. It makes me resentful that there is/was no way for me to make up for the horrific RNG.
That’s not why they were removed. They were removed because gear was made to be plain gear regardless of where you got them, and vendors would have made gearing too deterministic for PvE.
Because there is a gladiator vendor standing near the PvP chest, I am sure that they will be adding the appearances at the end of BfA like they did in Legion.
The current turn in offers multiple pieces, there’s 5 different Azerite leather helm for instance. 5 different helms with 5 different sets of traits to pick from.
I’m talking about the random BG gear, the Tier 1. Regardless, this expansion you’re unable to obtain the gear from previous seasons, neither Tier 1 nor Tier 2.
And that, I truly believe, is not player-centered.
At the very least they could make a vendor with the ensembles purchasable for marks of honor. Give them some use. I also think the design system for gear is rubbish and would rather they go back to whatever design ethos let us have pvp vendors
